Hit up a meeting and went to Applebees with a bunch of the homies for some late night apps. All in all it was a great night

A very wise phrasing of what I think is the ideal description of true adult maturity: "It is a state of neither easy cynicism no naive idealism, but of engaged reasonableness."

Do the dudes that work the local male strip you and Sawyer frequent really qualify as "celebrities" though?

Two of them are Sam Worthington and Taylor Kitsch, so yeah ... no, you're right, they don't qualify as "celebrities." :o

Started a new mix this morning and still working on it now. It's flowing really good so far and has a nice vibe and energy to it. Gonna be a dope summer mix. Haven't come up with a name yet though

So if Im having a weird problem with the site, who do I talk to do?

Been working on this mix for about 3 hours now and kind of hit a wall. I'm up to 16 tracks but this last one is proving difficult to mix out of since I don't want to play the whole thing and go to the outro. It's very frustrating, can't seem to find anything that goes good with it and my usual bail out tricks aren't sounding good either. Taking a break for now and letting my ears rest. My head over to the mall with my buddies here for a bit to grab some grub plus I need to get one of my new watches adjusted so it fits better

I've always been curious about producing music, DJing and general editing of music.

Do you have to obey certain metrics for it to count as music?

Back when I got into DJing everything was really segregated by genre. If you did breaks that was your thing. Over the last 5 years or so a lot of the young guys coming up have just straight up said f*** genres we are gonna make dope stuff. I specialize in dance music but can spin all types. I'm planning on getting into production here soon too. So the answer to your question is you can really do whatever the hell you want if you think it sounds good in terms of production. DJing there are some basics to go by but once you know those it's cake plus with the tech today you can do some really amazing stuff. I always recommend to anyone wanting to get into to get a decent controller and hit up Soundcloud for tons of free tunes and just play around. Ideally you would get some Technics tunrtables and some vinyl and learn the hard way but that is expensive but really worth it if you can afford it. But if you go the production route it's really the wild wild west and you can do whatever strikes your fancy. The only real rule is to make sure things are in the right key so it doesn't sound like garbage

Well now I feel stupid, no wonder I couldn't get the damn mix to work with this last track because it's a crappy rerub. Whoever made it didn't take the house beat out right so during the track it basically has 2 beats going on so now I have to go back to the track before it and find a new one to go with it. I thought I was going crazy for a bit there

I've just watched Psycho Pass and I think season 1 is way better than season 2.

Ohh ok. Back to Music theory practice then.

If you are familiar with any instrument it would be very easy to learn how to produce and/or DJ. If you know the piano then it's extremely easy as almost everything is done with MIDI and a keyboard. If you are interested you can learn basically everything you could ever want to know from the university of Youtube, there are literally millions of different tutorials on every single program you would ever use

As of late I'm wondering more and more why I put up with it. All my AA friends have no problem helping me with rides and he always wants gas money, he has always been a dick but I usually find it humorous. Earlier today we made plans to go to the mall and he was supposed to come pickk me up, I got all ready and stopped what I was doing and after about 45 mins I called him to find out what the deal was and he said he was already there and didn't have time to get me and forgot to call. It's just annoying things like that whereas I always try to go out of my way and help my friends as best I can. It's just frustrating
