I'd also like to thank Tim Burton for making Batman the way he did. If it wasn't for that film and it's serious tone and dark atmosphere, TAS never would have gotten made, and it wouldn't have started a chain reaction of great story telling, intellignet and marvelous quality shows. So thank you to Burton as well.

This thread literally brought a tear to my eye. It's so sad to see the Timm/Dini universe be replaced by the new one. Hear me now, nothing, NOTHING will come close to what they achieved with their animated series. Atleast not anytime soon.
