Too many posters on here hate MySpace so it wouldn't really work out too well. I see what you're trying to say but I think it wouldn't really work out here.

Modifying the user profile to the point of adding music/pictures and a personal board for everyone to leave messages and whatnot is a little much. Just a friends list that was actually useful like before the board upgrades would rule. Where it'd show you yer list in the User CP.

The first page of this thread is my daily reminder of how obnoxiously rude some people are. He just made a simple suggestion -- a member's profile, which I have seen on other message boards (usually each member has their own page and guestbook) -- and for no reason muertevilla and kyalesyin unloaded into him.

BTW I do agree with the poster above that SHH or Mirko should have a presense on myspace. It's almost crazy not too considering the producers, directors, and actors who are there.

Well, that even's it out for me. If the people on it suck, it's a feature i wont be interested in using. In essence, it'll suck to me.

Yes, but we're not talking about whether MySpace will suck for you.

We're talking about whether MySpace-like features could be useful on the Hype. Now, unless you think everyone on the Hype sucks, it's possibly a good idea.

I think the Hype is kinda lacking these days, and i know im not the only one. In any case, i dont think it would be a good idea.

Not necessarily. Some vb boards I've been to have sections in people's profiles where the can list their favorite movies, characters, etc, etc. Even have a picture of themselves. It looks nothing like MySpace, of course, but it serves the same function. And honestly, I would enjoy having it at the Hype. It'd just be cool to be able to see people's interests and tastes at the click of a button.
