Superman Returns It's a bird It's a plane It's a... belt buckle?!

gosh I hope it's not changed to be exactly like the movie suit. :down

It should be the comics the movie patterns its costume from not the other way around.:O
it's usually the other way around. Kryptonite, Jimmy Olsen, Organic Webshooters, the gothic looking Gotham City all came from outside of comics and were incorporated into them.

Costume costume costume costume costume costume costume

I specifically said costume just to avoid that point.

they also altered the Spider on the backof Spider-mans costume in the comics to match the movie version as well. The X-men costumes during Grant Morrison's run(Black leather jackets and pants anyone) to reflect the movies.

It's going to happen so just accept it. it's the way things work. We feed them they feed us. Really cool things have come out of iand you should open yourself up to the possibilities more.

No. If I like it, then it's fine, but usually the costumes are already better left unchanged. My preferrence now is for the originals not the movie designs.

I didn't really think about what that meant. Maybe we feed them with money, that's my guess.

i even splurged one day and got the Infinite Crisis series, and I was like...

Holy friggin crap, this is awesome.

I just wish it could of stayed the same as that...

Oh my stars and Gertrudes, I think I have an issue like that downstairs somewhere. i have no idea what's going on in the story because it's probably part of a bunch of other issues in a complete story arc, but whatever, it's fun to see superman and green lantern, some other bunch of heros fighting to save earth. But it ends with a to be continued and I have no idea what happens to them all later because I have to somehow acquire the next issue...

I wouldn't put much stock in it; it's just an artistic variation. Plenty of artists draw a bat on Batman's buckle, but that's not in the "official" design.

It also stands the chance of stagnating.
This is the age-old quandary that makes fanboys nearly impossible to really please. But as long as Tim Burton and McG are nowhere near the vicinity...then I'm A-Okay.

I think it is the fact that they feed the studio with the character and the research, and the movies feed the comics as when they do good, the comics sale more, so they are more apt to make them look like the..and the sun axis in relation to the ....hey JamalYIgle, what the hell did you mean?

I think he meant that they feed each other ideas, buggs. Either that or it could be nachos or something.
