Cool interview with Andrew! I wonder what the people who picked on him are going to think now that he's Spider-Man, lol?

I had the same problem at high school, I can totally relate to what he says in this interview :) Andrew is going to do great ;)

Okay, so we're going from how much it excites his inner child to play Spider-Man every interview to after-school specials. Am I alone in wanting to get some real information out of the guy soon?

I enjoy those sentiments of his, actually.

Meanwhile, he’ll carry on filming Spider-Man until April and spend some of his spare time watching people skateboard and surf because, contractually, he’s not allowed to partake in such ‘dangerous’ pastimes

Sony has them on a very short leash, the writers, director and the actors. They're watching every word that comes out of Andrew's mouth and he knows it. Don't expect any details about the actual film period. What we find out will come from those who have read the script or when something solid leaks. The Spider-Man films have some of the most horrible interviews I have ever witness for a blockbuster. They do interviews like crazy and say nothing of significance about the actual film. Hopefully, it doesn't mean that they're trying to hide yet another CRAP Spider-Man film.

ah thats always the suckiest part of contracts I hear that happens alot

Well, so far it seems like they're using TSSM as the base. If the movie is even half as good as that show, it's better than Raimi's trilogy.

The show was perfect. The only thing I hope they don't follow in the footsteps of is the webed armpits. I actually got used to it after a while, I'll admit they did look good in cartoon. As for the movie, they could definitely do without.

This is the best comment I ever read that you posted. I just bought vols. 5-8 I couldn't wait for an official 2nd season release. I used gift cards so it didn't cost me, what the heck right...

Just goes to show that people who are bullied/picked on, grow up to be successful out of spite.

Excerpt from a new interview with Andrew Garfield. It's mostly about "The Social Network". This is the only Spider-Man part. When asked how's filming going, he says:
It’s going good actually. It’s been a lot of fun, but Holy Christ it’s a lot of work. It’s like using seven different parts of your brain at once which is really interesting. I’m having a lot of fun, I’m enjoying it. The freedom you’re talking about, I still feel. I don’t feel hemmed in or tied down. I feel like I do have room to play, I feel wonderful about everyone involved – the cast, the director (Marc Webb). Touch wood, I don’t want to speak too soon, but so far it’s been really pleasant and creative. I think everyone wants it to be like that. Everyone is feeling like we want to do something other than what’s already been seen. There’s an exploration going on in this film.

From that pic,IF he had short hair.....I think he would look his age or perhaps college kid at most.

Since this is HS Spidey,Perhaps it's better to go with this hair and those cloths from the set pics!?

Yes, this is the stuff I need to be hearing more of.

Yes, they make him look younger.

A shorter haircut and different clothes can make all the difference to make him look older, which wouldn't help his credibility portraying a high-schooler.
