Only metric i like is the 9mm.
I'd argue the metric system is more precise and easier to work with.
How many milliliters in a liter? 1000
How many cups in a gallon? .......
But it would feel weird going to metric after spending my whole life on Imperial. The intuitiveness of knowing how much or big a certain size is would be gone. That's one of the reasons the metric conversion failed in the 70's.
So...we shouldn't use it even though it's easier to work with? lol
Instead of just being able to convert from one size to another without thinking about it, I have to empty my milk container to figure it out?
Don't get me wrong, I'd miss Imperial because it's what I grew up with and know. But there's no reason to use Imperial over metric except that we've been using it for so long and it would just cost a lot to transition. On the other hand, metric is so important and useful that it gets used in the Imperial world, whereas you'll never see Imperial being used in the metric world.
But instead of driving 65, you can drive over 100!![]()
I hate having a cough. I've had this tickle in my throat that is driving me crazy, especially when I try and sleep.
Don't do it, flu shots are REALLY bad for you. Your body is well equipped to deal with illnesses without shooting yourself up with chemicals. All a flu shot does is make the flu strain evolve into a stronger flu strain. True story.Maybe time for a flu shot for me.....
I really really hate when straight people feel the need to say "no homo" after commenting on a person of the same sex. If you're comfortable enough with your own sexuality, you shouldn't have to make this type of comment. It's annoying.
