I dunno know if it was just me, but Cloverfield didn't translate when I watched it at home on DVD. It just didn't work at home for me.

Loved in the theatre, the rumbling sound felt like the monster could pop out at any second.

It was amazing in theater. I enjoyed it quite a bit at home, but it lost a bit of the magic (but then again for the most part most movies always do).

My god I remember there was debate over that.

"He says its a lion, therfore it must resemble a lion"

"No, he says *Its Alive* not *Its a Lion*"

"NO HE DOESNT!!" :hehe:

"Its a live lion!"

I thought that trailer was a Beamquake and Clovie had just crawled out of Todash.:awesome:

Can't wait to see what this movie actually is.

You know I've never even seen Cloverfield. Don't know why just didn't peak my interest.

OK Guys just came back from special screening of Iron Man 2 and it had the Super 8 preview and it is produced by speilberg and it wasnt a handheld film like cloverfield also it wasnt as shocking as the cloverfield teaser
You guys can ask any questions about it ill be happy to answer and it said from director JJ Abrahms so he is Direscting it

the trailer says something about area 51 during the 1970s and there was something in a train that got derailed and it says something along the lines of IT will Arive next summer as it trys to break out of this container
You dont see anything and it says next summer I dont know what it could be about but it looks cool especially with speilberg involved

well im going to bed ill answer any questions in the morning please dont think im lying i honestly have nothing to gain and youll see the preview tomorrow night so its not like your not gonna see it also

I was disappoint that this isn't (so far!!) Clovefield related, but I'm super excited to see what it is.

what the hell is making them drag their ass on a cloverfield sequel

A good story.

J.J and Matt Reeves, if you ever happen to see this, here is your Cloverfield idea.

Same monster attack as the first movie, but strictly from the P.O.V of the military.

what is this, [REC]2? :hehe:

I enjoyed Cloverfield quite a lot at the time. I don't think a sequel is a good idea though. It would just end up being more of the same, probably. Half the fun was that they didn't explain the monster. Leave it be.

or just take place after the first attack form scientists point of view. explain where it came from, even though we saw it come from space

They been down on the ocean floor for thousands of years. Humans discovered by accident and put a drilling station above it to cover up their experiments on the monster. The Parasites had nothing to do with the monster, they're basically just giant fleas.

I hope it's more A L I E N/Signs rather than ET. Even Close Encounters style would be cool

I just want the creature to be big. Not some 6 foot tall alien.

Just watch, it'll be a super cutesy 3 feet tall furry kitten thing with mind powers that enriches the lives of all it touches but then the EBIL! GOVERMNET! try to take it away for horrible testing and experimentation

:barf:

That or 10 feet tall but still cutesy and then it DIES!! and the children cry
