To be fair, I think Jennifer Lawrence embraces JLaw. I believe it began among her friends before she was famous (I could be wrong, and I know she generally goes by Jen, but I think I read that somewhere?). In which case, I think it's more appropriate than with most public figures if she rolls with it.
