From V-Jump magazine comes another scan for the anime crossover game for PS3/PSVita, Project Versus J! Toriko x One Piece x Dragon Ball x NARUTO. Saiyan Island fans, he’s in! In a brand new scan from Shonen Jump, Naruto Uzumaki has been confirmed as playable character in the dream crossover known as J-Stars Victory VS (formerly known as Project Versus J)!

J-Stars Victory Vs. Has Two Vs. Two Fights, Crazy Combination Attacks

Details on how J-Stars Victory Vs. plays come from a round of magazine scans. This fighting game brings Jump characters including Toriko, Luffy from One Piece, Naruto, Goku from Dragon Ball Z, Ichigo from Bleach, and Kenshin together on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. Screenshots show Kenshi and Ichigo fighting on Planet Namek.

J-Stars Victory Vs. is a two vs. two fighting game. Although battles can become two vs. one if you defeat a fighter. You set up a team, but only directly control one character. The computer controls your partner.

Basic attacks chain up into combos and you can do power attacks if you have enough meter. This meter is shared among the team and when all three segments are full you can do an ultimate attack. Special attacks can be comboed one after another. A scan shows Goku firing a Kamehameha in mid-air and then Naruto using a Rasenshuriken.

Scan 9 of J-Stars Victory VS, the dream anime crossover game for the Sony PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, has been released! It features brand new screenshots of the characters confirmed so far (Goku, Naruto, Toriko, Luffy, Kenshin, and Ichigo) battling it out on Dragon Ball Z’s Planet Namek! It also reveals some gameplay mechanics! In one of the screenshots within the scan, an energy bar is shown to be divided into three segments. Defeat the enemy 3 times in a row to get it to the max. Once it’s filled up at it’s max, players can launch a powerful attack that inflicts a huge amount of damage to the opponent. Check out the scan below for full details!
