I was thinking of the first movie and I thought of the scene where he wakes up to find his new abs and biceps. Do you think they should incorporate that in the movie the same way they did in the first?

over time would be better.

but i don't know how in depth they will go when it comes to that quality.

That's what I'm hoping for, but I don't know how that could work? The "Jacked overnight" thing just seems too unrealistic, is there any other way of illustrating that though?

You mean the same sudden muscles thing or the scene as it was. Because it was awful.

I can't really think of anything...

Maybe his clothing slowly stops fitting or something like that. :funny:

Like there are 2 to 3 scenes of him going WTF when the bottom of his shirt doesn't pass his belly button or it rips or something...

OR even simpler He goes clothing shopping 2 or 3 times and gets pissed because he blows all his money on clothes that don't even fit within a week.

But i really don't know...i suppose Gwen could just notice his nipples poking through his shirt :hehe:

He has superpowers overnight...what is so crazy about muscle mass overnight?

Why do people think that was stupid scene? It's about a guy who can cling on walls, and yet, him getting jack over night is 'stupid'?

if you think about it, peter's body is going to change over night. he goes from a normal kid to a superhuman whose muscles are capable of lifting tons and supporting his body when he sticks to walls.

Yeah I don't understand the dislike of that scene either :S

Some people are in amazing shape, ripped and you would never even know it until you saw them without a shirt at some point. A person's frame has a lot to do with it..

He should discover his strength and muscle mass when he runs across the parking lot of Midtown High to save Gwen from a truck.

Ahh... that scene was unrealistic because real physiology doesn't work like that. Peter Parker should have died from the untreated spider bite he received. That's realistic and realistic means better.

Ladies and Gentlemen... Christopher Nolans "Spider-Man".

XD

To me it makes far more sense for him to get jacked overnight and have superstrength rather than him staying wimpy and having superstrength....at least imo.
Unless they decide to give his powers gradually through out the film

Oh for the love of moses, this is a comic book movie, pure fantasy. Why is this now a problem? Jeez let it go or go and watch the discovery channel. Bloody hell.

I thought he was already Spider-Man from the beginning in the reboot.

I don't want his origins to be in the movie outside of the opening credits period.

Is this going to happen at all? Thought he was Spidey from the start...?

Every law of physics out there. Just don't show a body (or scene with his shirt off) until later on in the movie. Makes it more believable, all I'm saying.

It would make sense to show him in a flashback where he looks scrony and bony so you could see the clear development he achieved due to the transformation. All I'm saying. :)
