Never watched these movies all the way through...but this just seems like a stupid decision.
No one has cared about these movies since 2003 and it's not like these movies were very high grossers. And then Wilson and Chan are nowhere near the stars they were when these first movies come out On top of that you see these sequels to long awaited movies, 8/10 don't do that well.
Good luck to them, but I'd bet serious money this wont be a success
