James Bond 22 Update

Hi guys! I´m from Czech and my friend worked on Casino Royale and he told me some informations about next Bond movie:


- Bond 22 will be filmed in the Czech Republic. (It´s true. It´s confirmed.)

- Producers considering these 3 directors:
- Peter Webber (Hannibal Rising)
- Christophe Gans (Silent Hill)
- Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland)

- The new Bond Girl is blonde and she is around 30 years old (Ursula Andress´ Honey Ryder type).
- Vesper will be in flashbacks.
- Vesper´s boyfriend isn´t the main villian, but this character has very big role in this story.
- The main villian is the "unknown" russian businessman.
- The main line of Bond 22 is really emotional romantic drama.


I don´t know if it´s true, but sounds really interesting.

Bond films shoot in many different locations. Always has been like that, always will. Filming may take place in CR, although they filmed part of Casino Royale in Prague already, but it will shoot in more than 3 locations.

The only decent director on that list is Macdonald, and the romantic drama thing sounds like s**t. You may aswell be talking about Casino royale. Are you?

Christophe Gans wouldn't be a bad choice. Brotherhood of the Wolf had some awesome action scenes.

It looks like Goran Visnjic, who was one of the four final candidate for the role of Bond in Casino Royale, will be the new Bond villain.

US, March 26, 2007 - James Bond may be heading back to Prague. EON Prods. is reportedly hoping to lens Bond 22 at Barrandov Studios where Casino Royale was shot. Barrandov, however, is facing competition from Pinewood Studios, the franchise's longtime home which is still hoping to win the series back.

According to The Guardian, "Pinewood's famed 007 stage has been rebuilt after it was destroyed by fire last July and now offers even more extensive facilities than before." Reps for Barrandov are said to be in talks with Sony and MGM, although the studios and EON both declined to comment to The Guardian.

In addition to needing stages to shoot on, Bond 22 also needs a director. Casino Royale director Martin Campbell, who had previously said he wouldn't return to direct the sequel, now seems a little more receptive to the idea.

"After GoldenEye, I was asked to do subsequent Bonds, but I declined because it felt as if I'd be repeating myself," Campbell told USA Today last week. "But this one is based on a Bond that's more interesting. To be honest, I would just say I'd never say never."

In related news, MI6.co.uk reports that screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade "are reportedly working out a script based on Ian Fleming's short stories The Hildebrand Rarity, The Property Of A Lady, Risico and 007 In New York. ... The duo refused to comment on whether the plot featured Vesper's Algerian boyfriend being a central character in Bond's quest to topple the organization that Le Chiffre worked for."

The site also points out the latest Bond girl rumors. According to Turkish newspaper Kelebek, model-kickboxer Fulya Keskin is being eyed for a Bond girl role in the next installment. MTV.co.uk also reports that pop singer-actress Jamelia, who was once rumored for a role in Casino Royale, said at a recent event at London's Hard Rock Café, "I would love to be the next Bond girl. I've looked at three scripts and I really liked one. I'm going to Hollywood in May."

I really hope Monneypenny is featured somehow, even if it's a small role they can build on. Was it me or was there a small reference to her in Casino Royale (Vesper "I'm the money" Bond "Every penny of it)?

Q should feature somewhere in the series, Q Branch could even work it's way into Bond 22, possibly some passing reference, or even giving Bond a small gadget ( a PDA, or an upgrade to his phone, noting fancy).

they dont even need to have Q in the movie...just a reference IMO, like M telling 007 about a new device or something that Q has researched.

Q shouldn't be seen in the next film, but he should eventually make an aperance. I do agree that Bond should have some sort of gadget, nothing fancy, just an upgrade for his mobile that alows him to use it as a listning device or something
