What really threw me off was the pocket dimension room with all those gadgets. How in the world did his father build all that? It was just thrown at us with no explanation.

Yeah, I do hope they give us a little more background on that. Like, how did this dumb old racist build or acquire something like that? Aside from the butterflies, this show feels pretty grounded in that Kick-Ass kinda way (like, this is what would really happen if a couple of insane idiots put on costumes and tried to fight crime) but that room is so WTF.

He's definitely dumb because he's racist but by all the tech he builds Peacemaker and I would assume used to build for himself he does seem rather intelligent unfortunately, atleast when it comes to building.

Yeah that’s true. But building an inter-dimensional portal requires a bit more explanation than just being a gear head. I hope we get more insight into that. Hopefully the nonchalant way Peacemaker explains it is just due to his dumb nature of never thinking too hard about things.

So you guys think Checkmate will appear in this? Peacemaker was part of that team in the past. I hope they show up simply because I know Gunn’s costume designers would do some sick version of the Knight suits.

Show original but they may be inspired by a comic group called The Reach. At least thats the current rumor.

Episode 5 was awesome! The entire scene at the warehouse is probably my favorite scene from the series so far. Peacemaker and Economos going from hating each other to then bonding over their love of metal was sweet

Speaking of, thanks to this show I discovered Dynazty. Their tune was playing during the end credits and they are f***ing aweosme! So kudos to Gunn and the music crew

This show just keeps getting better and better each week. I also just realized just how retro 80's/90's this show feels too which is also a reason I believe I'm really enjoying it at least so far.

The violence is so in your face and over the top and I loved every minute of it, especially the chainsaw bit lol. It was also super satisfying for some reason seeing Peacemaker and dyed beard finally bonding.

Apart from the Hanoi Rocks content, I think the plant part "saved" the episode. Anything before that was putting me to sleep. Also that name list ran way too long AND he should've named rock/hair metal band members only.
