... I think he'd make a little better Danny Rand than the other guy.. he's well.. much taller..

Jason Statham can't be Iron Fist for the same reason The Rock can't be Namor: he's too bulky.

he has the same build as Ray Park. but i don't think either could be Iron Fist, personally. i think Kip Pardue could resemble him if he had Christian Bale's work ethic. the thing of it is, Danny has always looked like your average J-Crew white guy; as opposed to a martial artist. i would just go with someone who looks like they could hang out with Tyrese's version of Cage (except Paul Walker).

If Danny Rand mated with an ape.

Um no. kthnxbye.

I doubt Statham can do a convincing American accent.

Has Ray Park ever proven he can? He didn't change it for X-Men. They had to dub another voice actor for Darth Maul, so what's your point?

Yet Statham has a clearly slimmer build than Park, who's been the frontrunner for the role since the first X-Men movie.

With a competent writer, and Corey Yuen to direct it, Statham as Iron Fist would rock exponentially!

Personally, I think Statham would make an excellent Bullseye and that Iron Fist should be paired up with Luke Cage in an action comedy in the vein of the Rush Hour films. I think financially, that's would be the best way to go.

I believe a wise.......individual put it best by stating "Size Matters Not". Just cause' Statham's getting more screen time than Park is irrelevant as to whether Park should play Iron Fist.

Gary Daniels should play Iron Fist.

Some people may best remember him from 'Fist of the North Star' and Jackie Chan's 'City Hunter'.

His actings' passable (but then again can't be any worse than Statham or Park) but it's his martial arts ability that gets him the role for me. Not to mention thats he's been in a lot of films so he has experience.

Base a strong supporting cast around him and it could work.

Daniels isn't getting any younger but truth be told I only envisage Iron Fist as a one movie deal. Just a gut feeling.

One problem Gary Daniels can't act. At least not enough to carry a movie on his own.

Which is why I said he'd need a strong supporting cast; hopefully that and some competent filmaking could make something good.

Let's face it - everyone thought Blade was gonna be just another generic, fairlly low budget martial arts flick with low expectations and look how that turned out.

That's because Wesley Snipes is AN ACTOR.

So youre saying the only reason Blade was a success was because of Snipes?
