Just read the first volume of the New 52 Suicide Squad, El Diablo makes his debut as far as I know. Really cool character that goes through internal conflicts on what the squad should be and the lines they cross. He and Deadshot have some small skirmishes in that area. I hope that's in the film.

This new trailer has me really disappointed that Diablo is probably going to wind up dead. He looks amazing in action!

Wouldn't be the Suicide Squad if no one died. From the way they talk about it Diablo will be the most sympathetic of the Suicide Squad. Him dying could be an emotional moment.

Harley's reaction to it and Deadshot covering his face because of the fire's intensity makes me think that shot is the first moment he uses his power while in action.

diablo is definitely marked for death. he'll be the one we care for when he dies, whereas slipknot will just be fodder that you hardly got to know.
