Jealousy

Can anyone here honestly admit to being jealous of someone sometimes? Sure you shouldn't really care about what someone else is doing or what they have, but sometimes it's difficult not to feel even a little envious of what someone has.

There is no one alive that has never been jealous. Even the guy that appears to have all the answers and is the most confident has been envious of someone at some point. There will always be someone that has it a little better in your eyes.

My jealousy usually comes from when a woman that I'm attracted to is taken, it's petty but it happens.

I do get very envious of others...it's just myself mindlessly comparing who I am to others around me, even though that's just a waste of time. People who I think are more successful, well-rounded....better people, than me.

Jealous - you feel the person does not deserve to have it/achieve it.

Envy - you're happy for them and wish you had it/achieved it too.

I only really get jealous of people who have their priorities straight (life, not possessions), but still have a good-paying job that they can afford all the possessions anyways and will never have to know what it's like to work 3 jobs just to get by. Especially when they realize how lucky they are.

The people who have it all and still don't realize it, I don't feel envious towards them at all. I feel sad for them, for everyone they know, and for all of humanity.
