JERICHO (what happens when a nuclear mushroom cloud suddenly appears)!

It does, I mean...wow. :o All those petitions for what? Really sucks.

All those petitions for what? For at least a short continuation and not just a cliffhanger that went nowhere.

Wow, that was such a bittersweet end. I hope they put the whole series in one boxed set! I'll definitely buy it. I'd also like to see the alternate finale (if it wasn't cancelled). It served well as a series finale and could've also been a season finale, prepping us for the 2nd Civil War.

Great episode, sucks that it is the end though.

Time to start sending history text books to CBS.

Two finales were shot. One is a season finale which ends season 2 and sets up season 3. The other had a more complete ending that actually serves as a series finale.

For some reason, CBS decided to air the season finale version tonight.

Holy crap, just found this:

"On March 25th, an article on the Sci Fi Channel's website indicated that CBS was indeed in talks with cable networks to find the show another home."

I read about that. Hopefully they find the show another home. I'm sure TNT wouldn't mind the 10 mill or whatever viewers that comes with it.

As for the ending they aired. I liked it. It left an opening for the series to continue with if it were picked up. Not just with the upcoming Civil War but with the character "John Smith" still being alive & on the loose. At the same time it kind of gave Jericho a proper send off. They're no longer a big player in this conspiracy plot since the Nuke is no longer there. They can now carry on as the little known town that was before the bombs went off. Of course it'll be hard since a divided nation would be at war in their backyards :o

I thought it was a pretty good ending. It was more than most canceled shows get.

it was canned again????

I bet Sci-Fi will pick it up. I'm going to join th effort and start writing letters to Paramount and Sci-Fi Channel.

Don't put up the headstone yet: New York Times says CBS is in talks to find help funding cult drama.

At the risk of causing a full-on riot, Jericho may not be dead after all.

The New York Times dug into the recently announced deal between DirecTV and NBC that saved Friday Night Lights, and discovered that this new tactic of partnering with cable providers may not be a one-time thing.
Is a deal being made?

Is a deal being made?

According to the paper, a pair of anonymous sources says CBS has had talks with Comcast about "finding new life for Jericho."

Presumably, those talks amount to negotiating a similar deal that kept Friday Night Lights from being canceled. Lights will return for a 13-episode season and will premiere on DirecTV in October, four months before it is re-aired on NBC in February after the Super Bowl.

Jericho, which follows a postapocalyptic Kansas town trying to survive after a nuclear attack on American soil, was canceled after its first season. Fans rallied, and CBS reversed its decision to axe it. However, after disappointing ratings, the show was once again canceled last month just before the shortened second season concluded.

Is the third time a charm? Does the show deserve another chance? Can it be saved by Comcast? Comment below...

OMG! If it comes back again. This will be dubbed the show that wouldn't die! This is crazy!

Oh i'll be very glad if it got the chance to get that title

i can see it now......

announcer: JERICHO *shows breif clips of new season* The show that will never die!

Nope...SciFi actually made a statement about not wanting to be a "dumping ground" for cast off shows....

I think they were just showing reruns of it a few months back. I know the CW network just recently added it to it's Sunday night lineup. Nothing new, just reruns. Which is somewhat of a surprise considering the CW network top ***** is the same person who canned it when she ran CBS.

I saw that the CW11 was playing the pilot this past sunday at 7pm.

I guess the cw broough the rights to the show and will show it on repeats on sunday.

Well it's the same company as CBS...so they are just airing it there to fill Sundays since they canned two newer shows that were sucking

they got rid of those valentine and easy money shows, already? lol.

Yup...the statement given said that Valentine and Easy Money "were not working out"...which is funny because if you read the press release back when they announce the new fall schedule, the CW was hoping these shows would take off

Thats funny cause whenever i saw a tv spot for those shows, they were given good reviews.

How can that network live on tween shows? Both of those shows lasted what 6 eps apiece if that?
