I agree with you Matt. Good call on that. Seinfeld earned it.
superman says: "Turn that Sh__t off, Bo"
While I love Jerry Seinfeld, I don't think his appearing in SR would be more rational than Richard Branson. Considering the fact that Branson pioneers in the field of private party space travel, it would make more sense that someone like him would be in a film that featured an airplane/shuttle going on its maiden voyage as a commercial space vehicle.
At least his appearance on the film is supported by the plot of the movie. Having Seinfeld appear simply because he's a huge fan and his TV show had a lot of nods to the character isn't rational. It would be cool but wouldn't really be supported by anything (that we know of) in the plot.
Maybe Superman rescues him from a booing crowd?
Good to see you lurking in the Returns boards.
Never heard that!? Even the close talker!
There was a rumored Jackie Chilles spinoff following the run of Seinfeld...it never happened.
I don't think they would be able to pull off a cameo without it being cheesy, but anything is possible.
I think if its something small like Stan Lee's cameos in the Spider-man movies, it could work.
Yeah, something small
id love to see it. in fact i wouldnt be surprised-given how singers handles the movie-if has one.
That would have been too awesome. But instead we got Kumar, from Harold and Kumar.
Nah, we'd know about it if it were in there.
I beLIEve you will find Jerry is in Superman Returns - look.
I would actually like to see pictures of the creators of Superman, somewhere in the Daily Planet...for whatever reason.
Knowing Singer, it is more likely there will be a picture of Richard Donner (who Singer probably considers the ceator)...but good idea none the less.
OH MY FRIGGIN GOD! A RELIABLE SOURCE CONTACTED ME UPON READING THIS PM WITH SHOCKING INFO ON A CAMEO! READ BELOW AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Luthor is in his hide out, with his henchman and Kitty, the dialogue is as follows
Henchman (played by Jerry Seinfeld): Whats up with Kitty? If you're going to have a trophy girlfriend, does she really have to be named Kitty? Its just such a cliche! And whats up with...
Luthor: (shoots him)
Of course. Which is why he became close with the families of the creators.
The most we will probably get if he is in this Movie say when Clark visits Lois at her & Richards home or he goes to anyone house or heck Clark can go to his apartment & turn on the TV & ala Seinfeld is on the air. I would imagine something along this type of stuff
Since when Supes use his cape to wipe his mouth & others? I thought he have "super" manners. Guess that explain why the cape get torn a lot. It isn't the fight, it's not taken good care of your cape & not cleaning it either!!
The best Seinfeld Superman moment is when George of Jerry discuss whether or not Superman has a super sense of humor. CLASSIC!
Well, Siegel and Schuster are dead, so that isn't happening. Though I wouldn't mind John Byrne, Curt Swan, etc.
& another good one is wether or not Superman can really Turn Back Time
No Seinfeld. He sux.
Patric "Puddy" Warburton as the voice of Superman.
JERRY: "Hey Supes, don't eat your own cape!"
