I don't get this "Lex is", stated like one fact. Like with most characters, Lex has and will come in many different variations.
Now your personal preferences for the character is another thing (personally, like with all things, I dig many different versions) but that's not how it is treated as sometimes, and it bugs me.
His height, 5'7", is all that concerns me. I wanted a physically imposing Lex. I feel like at 30, his age is fine. And he had the acting chops, etc.
But, Bane was also played by a man who was 5'9" and looked fierce and intimidating and Tony Stark is played by a guy no taller than 5'9" either....so I'm sure his height won't be an issue if they wanted to make him seem more imposing. He'll never convincingly be a physical force, but they can make it so we take him seriously.
Still, wanted Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt or Joaquin Phoenix for the part. Someone over 6".
I'll wait and see. It is inspired.

Does anyone have a problem with Zuckerberg being an influence for Lex? I mean Lex would ****ing *****slap Zuckerberg. All Zuckerberg did was create Facebook. Lex wouldn't even acknowledge him.
Just as you see folks quick to crap over every single choice ("Batman should not be taller than Superman". This movie will suck"). There are some that will be spoon fed & seemingly love any & every thing as well: "Aziz Ansari is playing Doomsday
perfect casting!!! This movie is going kick all kinds of ass!!! DC is on the ball now".... I don't think they can make a casting choice that some people on here WON'T like at this point. I guess people are saving that venom for the Ninja Turtles movie. Now that's a movie that is getting picked apart for every casting choice...
t:I'm think it's funny that certain fanboys are so egotistical that they believe that WB are casting their 200million dollar Superhero epic to spite them.

I can't imagine the reaction to be like this.

Only WB with the way things are looking for Superman/Batman, could announce a perfect pick with Irons as Alfred and then a "what the ****" pick with Eisenberg as Lex. No matter how much you support him, don't tell me your first thought wasn't "what the ****".
What's the general consensus on this casting? When I first heard the news my first thought was ehhhhhh.
This just reminds me of the Topher Grace casting as Eddie Brock. You just know it's a bad fit.
