BvS Jesse Eisenberg IS Lex Luthor - Part 5

It's no skin off my nose if Lex starts out with hair then loses it via the events of the film. Traditionally speaking, except for Byrne's Luthor, Lex always loses his hair for SOME reason other than male pattern baldness. Now, I don't want Luthor's only reason to hate Supes to be his hair, but it shiuld be one more iron to throw onto his "I hate this guy" fire.

Baldness is the lack of a hair style. :cwink:

It's odd for a 30 year old with healthy hair to be bald without a reason. Even odder for someone as narcissistic as Lex.

Here's a thought, some people like how they look bald. I know, crazy right?

You see a decent amount of 20+ guys balding because its a natural genetic thing. It doesn't necessarily mean you're sick, just simply balding.

Yup, that's almost always the case and that's the reason.

It's very usual because hair is generally desired.

I would sooner believe Lex, a narcissistic, would pay for expensive hair implants than decide to go bald despite having healthy hair.

But that would show a chink in his armour- not a very superior thing to do.

How about combing it over and denying that it's a comb-over like the Donald? :oldrazz:

If y'all want to see Jesse Eisenberg bald as Lex Luthor, then look no further than the great Adam Sessler...

He got a bad haircut once and he decided that, as with all things he owns, he'd rather remove something than have it be imperfect so he just shaved his whole head. Ended up liking the bald look and decided to keep it.

Still sent someone to kill the barber, though.

Exactly. Far from the pre-Crisis interpretation, I've always liked the idea that Lex is bald because he's so confident he doesn't need to worry about his hair. Also, there's the idea that he's so obsessed with intellectual pursuits and increasing his own power that he feels the small amount of time it would take to style his hair every day is a distraction from other activities, compelling him to simply shave it all off.

Some people start losing a bit of hair and just get rid of the rest of it. There's two guys in their 30s who did this at my work place.

I'm 27 and have been losing my hair for the last year and a half-2 years. Thinking of soon enough Heisenberg-ing/Luthor-ing it haha.

Go for it. The look works for some people. I can't picture the guys at my work any other way.

Soon, I'm still holding off a bit. :oldrazz: but it's gonna have to happen at some point haha.

It worked for Rob Halford. \,,/ Dude never looked more badass before shaving his head.

Any grown man that's balding and attempts to get a rug or some kind of implant as opposed to just shaving it off instantly loses all my respect. As a shaver for years, just accept your fate. :o

If you're really brave, you don't even shave it. Just let it do its monastic thing.

Same thing here I'm 28 and as soon as I started balding I decided to shave my head which would be 3 or 4 years ago. And it is such an empowering thing to do I think you can't exactly explain it until you've experienced it.

I would definitely see Lex shaving his head to look more intimidating and powerful and to show the world that he doesn't care about trivial things.

Agreed even though I have a full set of hair. :funny: So when the day comes that I'm starting to lose it it gets shaved.

If you're older person shaving your head makes you look a lot younger as well. I have been shaving my head for 2 years now.

I would prefer that he just had a shaved head or a buzzed look but that it wasn't explained or that he does it because he is balding or doesn't care about those things, etc. I would like that he has it that way because he just does. No explaining. Jason Statham doesn't explain why he has a buzzed haircut and neither do basketball players, football players, soccer players, MMA fighters, etc. I work with a lot of men who are young and either shave/buzz. They don't do it because they want to look intimidating or powerful or anything. I think they just like the way it looks or don't want to deal with having to do their hair. Some just buzz at home because they find it easier than going to a salon. I don't want his head to be a focus. He has a buzz/shaved head and that is just it.
