him losing his hair could be one of the reasons he hates Superman.
It would be awesome if we had a scene where lex is looking into a mirror only to notice he's losing hair, he then shatters the mirror in a fit of rage! they could treat it sort of like a metamorphosis/transformation.

Yeah thats way too shallow and gimicky to be a reason why he hates superman. I'm sorry but that just makes for very bad/amateur storytelling imo.
i don't want or need to see Lex come unhinged, he needs to be sadistic and twisted from the beginning.

Lex can lose his hair because of SOMETHING connected to Superman, but it sure as hell shouldn't be THE reason they are enemies. It can be A reason, just another iron to throw on the "I hate Superman fire", but it being the sole reason will always come off as petty.

For some reason, the thought of Lex ripping his hair off and throwing it at Superman reminds me of that weird scene in Poison Ivy where Drew Barrymore takes her skirt off and throws it at Sara Gilbert.

Im not certain if it was Mercy but it was a blonde haired female assistant so possibly. But he just pulled the gun out and shot her out of nowhere in his office. When i first saw that i was like "wow. Just ruthless
