Jim Carrey is brilliant in The Truman Show but he's outshined by Ed Harris for me. What an absolutely all-time perfect performance from the legend.

For an 'acting' performance, The Trueman Show or The Majestic. For pure 'comedy' tour de force, The Mask, to have that kinetic energy & know the film is 'all on you' was a huge pressure, but he pulled it off.

It’s a tie between Dumb & Dumber and Liar Liar for me.

Though it's not his best movie, nostalgia and favouritism forces me to pick The Mask.

But I'm also very fond of Liar Liar, A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Cable Guy, Dumb & Dumber, Ace Ventura, Bruce Almighty, The Grinch, Yes Man and I Love You, Philip Morris.

Oh and Batman Forever goes without saying.

My personnel favorite was always Dumb & Dumber but Carrey has such a great and varied filmography.

As much of a comedic genius he is, always thought he had the makings of a great dramatic actor.
