Dude, WTF? Why in the hell would you cast a young Wally West with a young Hal Jordan? Hal is easily ten years Wally's senior, you'd either need a much older Hal actor or a much younger Wally actor. If you're using Hal as GL then you absolutely must use Barry Allen as Flash, he and Hal are the same age and were always best friends in the comics and were the League's original Flash and GL and served on the team together like all the time. The Wally/Hal relationship is an uncle/nephew type one as opposed to a buddy cop style one like the Barry/Hal relationship. Barry Allen is for Flash what Hal Jordan is for GL, if you're gonna use the original and best GL then you need to use the original and best Flash. To use Wally and Hal would be like using Kyle Rayner and Barry Allen, it doesn't make sense. If you're gonna use Wally as Flash then you either gotta use Kyle Rayner or John Stewart as GL. Kyle Rayner is for GL what Wally West (the former Kid Flash) is for Flash and Wally is to Flash what Nightwing/Dick Grayson (the former Robin) is for Batman and what Red Arrow/Roy Harper (the former Speedy) is for Green Arrow. I'd say do either Wally and Kyle as Flash and GL or Hal and Barry as GL and Flash, not a mixing of the two.

Speaking of Kyle Rayner, does anyone else think that DJ Cotrona could play him? I think he might make a descent Kyle Rayner GL, personally. :word:

Also, perhaps Armie Hammer was cast as Aquaman? He's got blonde hair. :woot:

And Santiago Cabrera was cast as John Jones, the Martian Manhunter's alias while Hugh Keays-Byrne is actually playing the Martian Manhunter??

Time will tell.

I could actually tolerate Cotrona as Kyle Rayner tho. And I really think that Adam Brody could play either Barry Allen OR Wally West. Other than hair and job, Wally and Barry are really the same person, their personalities are pretty much identical, only thing is Barry's story is easier to follow cuz he has less baggage/continuity to familiarize new readers with. I want them to use whichever whichever Flash (or GL) that works best with the film's story.

yeah, he could be Hal too. But they'd have to dye his hair brown and give him brown eye contacts. He wouldn't need too much touch up work for Barry tho.....

Hmmmm...interesting choice, my friend. He's just about tall enough (6' 2', VERY close to 6' 4') and is coincidentially in Miller's cast's age rage (26 to 35). A 28 year old Superman would be fine, IMO. If they give him the Superman haircut and hair color I think he might work based on that pic.

Have you seen him in anything before?

I actually saw him in a Mini Series a while back called 'Island At War', and an episode of Midsomer Murders, and I liked him. He also had a starring role in an Alexander The Great movie in 2004 which hasn't come out yet.

I think he's got great screen presence. He has a lot of potential and hope someone out there considers him again.

I know, but he lacks the look. This dude looks more like Superman and I know he's 6' 2'. My only complaint about him is that based on the googled images of him I found, he looks a little soft. But it's not like they can't fix that and make him look tougher....I likes the JLU and Byrne style Superman in attitude/personality.

yea could be a good flash or even a hal jordan. Maybe as i stated could work as bats could do the brooding part well but with his goofyness/comedy stuff he does in superatural and his film roles he would not be the best there.
