Yeah, sounds like development hell. They haven't figured out the tone, they don't have a script, doesn't even look like they have an actor... TR didn't even break even, it seems, and money bags will be less interested in spending money on this one.

Sounds like they’re working out the tone. They have a star (just that if he doesn’t like where it’s going he could still walk which is fine) and TR is irrelevant. It’s like saying a book adaption didn’t work so no more adaptions of pride and prejudice or something.

I reckon there’s a chance. They’re probably watching closely online to see what people want like marvel does to see what to do next

I want Duke Nukem cinematic universe.

Oh my gosh me too! I think it would be so much fun to put duke nukem and captain blaskowitz on a team together. Duke is so gungho and William is aware that he made a mistake once or didn’t bring his A game and everyone paid the price. It would be fun to put them together.

Plus add in Lo wang and commander keen. Would commander shepherd work (different companies but maybe they could work it out) and she could be an epic badass black woman. Lara too of course and maybe Jill valentine. And bayonetta?
