Horror John Krasinski and Emily Blunt find A Quiet Place

I'm currently suspecting Murphy (and/or Hounsou) is gonna end up the human villain, but I think it'd be more interesting if he didn't, just because Murphy isn't exactly out-of-the-box casting as a shady dude. He's someone you almost expect to be a bad guy, even though he's perfectly well capable of playing a variety of characters.

I'm hoping the, "People that survived arent worth saving." is a misdirect and humans arent the main villains. I'd like for the creatures we saw in the first film to end up being the hounds of some smarter and much more frightening alien.

Now that would be an interesting twist. It sounds better than the standard post-apocalyptic villainous humans trope cliche that The Walking Dead has been running into the ground for the better part of the last decade.

And which 28 Days Later did too.

Which 1968's Night of the Living Dead pretty much invented.

I had no interest in this sequel but that trailer was great and now I'll be there in theaters. :funny:

“Human being the real monsters is played out”

Yeah, I agree, I’m definitely getting tired of seeing it on the news and my social media feed on a daily basis. :o

Yeah the humans are the monsters bit didn’t appeal to me, but the rest did and I loved the first so much I am still well on board.

Hell yeah this is great news. Nothing better than hearing about a sequel that actually delivers which I swear feels rarer and rarer these days.

(Mainstream) movies delivering gets rarer and rarer, so yeah, it's always a small miracle.

If he wants to direct fantastic four I say let the man work.

His imaginary friend dark comedy/fantasy starring Ryan Reynolds (and co-starring himself) sounds interesting and I'd take that over any superhero movie first. But after that, why not? He and Emily Blunt would make for a great Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman.

Awesome news, loved the first movie and can't wait even more for the sequel now.

Happy to hear about those reactions.
