Horror John Krasinski and Emily Blunt find A Quiet Place

So excited for this, loved the first film. I’m vaccinated but I’m still not gonna go to a theater. I’d rather wait for home release. I much prefer and have always wanted what we’ve been getting during these times with the streaming releases. So I am fine waiting.

I enjoyed the last trailer enough, so I'll be skipping this one. This is easily still one of my most anticipated films of the year and I want to go in seeing as little as possible now.

I had no idea this was releasing THIS month. I didn't see the first one in theaters, which was a travesty. Definitely not making that same mistake twice!

FYI, I loved the movie. I'm gobsmacked by how good John Krasinski is as a director right now. This is only his third movie, and it's a sequel too.

Great suspense, horror that's built through dread and terror not blood and gore. Also great focus on visual storytelling, less clunky dialog.

Also, the kids are great actors in this. They aren't annoying precocious quippy kids that always get shoved into movies like this.

14 months ago I had just confirmed my invite to a screening for this, and then the pandemic restrictions went into effect, and California went into full lockdown. Oddly enough, this was the first press screening I saw since the pandemic shutdowns started in the US.

What’s the third movie he directed?

According to IMDb he has directed four movies (The Hollars being the fourth), plus three episodes of The Office

A worthy follow-up but not quite as good as the first one. The big scene(s) at the end of the second act leading into the third was really impressive though.

Just came out of Part 2.

A truly great sequel that uses the same formula of the first film, but keeps what made that great.

Great tension-building moments and action, strong direction and and an amazing sound design.

Cillian Murphy and Emily Blunt were highlights.

Bring on Part 3!

Saw this the other night. Fantastic maybe not as good as the 1st one but a pretty good sequel. I could see becoming a Horror Trilogy just by how they ended it. The Actors in this were all good and I've been a fan of Cillian Murphy

Fantastic sequel. Even better than the first! incredible acting from everybody involve, and major props to Cillian Murphy.

Yeah, John Krasinski is 100% the real deal as a director. Hot damn this was fantastic just like the first one was.
