So Christopher Reeve walks in to a bar...

Oh wait, nevermind.

Sorry, but ...no. those joke's are terrible. Not only are they way too sick, but worst of all, they're not even remotely funny.

there not supposed to be funny just sick, funny to joker not us

I like the idea of the sick jokes, but let's remember that this movie is going to PG-13. I think jokes about killing babies giving him a hard-on is out of the question.

That baby fetish joke is waaaay too much. I can't stop laughing at how bad it is.

I can't wait to see how Nolan and Nolan will take the comedian side of the Joker on in the comics. The news that they are brining Jerry Robinson on as a consultant just for the character of the Joker shows that Nolan knows what he is doing and plans on giving us the Joker the way we know and love him.

Not exactly sick, but I'd love to see the joke from the end of The Killing Joke. :D

Batman"You're insane."
Joker"Has it really taken you this long to notice?"

Batman enters a dark room.
Joker(voice): What is red green and blue and makes funny sounds?

lights on

We see a brutally beaten up rachel behind a big window than Joker appears behind her. He rises a crowbar and starts beating her...(you hear the funny sounds?:joker:)

Lets see...

What is the difference between a pizza and a baby?
... the pizza doesn't scream when you put it in the oven.

I knew that one but it is still one sick joke. I could so see the Joker saying these things.

Whatcha think of the scene I described in my thread above. I acctually tried to move away from that baby-topic.

Another thing about the Baby-Jokes:
Maybe the Joker is going to kidnap Gordons little one. In that case these Jokes would acctually be a must have for the film.
Imagine Gordon coming home from work having the Joker sitting in his kitchen (with no baby) telling one of these Jokes (of course he bluffs). Gordon would loose himself in aggression and the Joker couldnt stop laughing .

I've always found that The Joker is usually a situational comedian, like he always some joke to fit the situation.

And I don't think he's as sick with his humor as some of you suggest(those baby jokes are just lame  ).

i bet your reaction when you first heard them was not "lame". I dont know why but your "lame" seems kinda generated to me

And to get back to your point: Dont you think that these kind of jokes could work perfectly in the situation I described above your post? As i said that humor is exactly the humor i'd love the Joker to have (well not throughout the whole movie but in certain situations of course).

No. The Joker has *never*, repeat, *never*, done jokes as sick as this. This kind of humor would be entirely inappropriate in a Batman movie.

Honestly, I'll agree, all thise baby jokes sounds a bit lame for character like Joker.

I take it you've never read Arkham Asylum.

Okay, here's one that doesn't involve babies:

*The Joker has hostages, and he's thinking of demands with some goons*

THE JOKER: I got it! Reunite the Beatles!
GOON: Okay, I'm going to regret asking, but...how?
THE JOKER: Three more bullets!

:D

That's still nowhere near as bad as those baby jokes.
Think about it. Supposedly one of the things that caused his mind to snap, was the death of his *pregnant* wife. Dead baby jokes would be too much, even for someone as psycho as Joker. And they are indeed lame, as well.

But...the AA joke WAS a baby joke.

He should spend the first 35 min of the movie telling The Aristocrats.
