There are far worse name than that, so if judges are going to start renaming kids they'll be swamped with cases. I've come across some real doozies. Chavarous. Frascemda. Demean. Passion. Desire. Iquan. Quandray. Quinisha. Urythe. Perish. Sharkita. Tier (and Tear). Female (pronounced like "tamale"). I had a couple of customers whose legal first names were Girl and Baby Girl, although that was because their mothers wouldn't submit a name when their birth certificates were filed. Awful names are nothing new and parents are not going to stop bestowing them on their unfortunate offspring.

The court didn't rename Adolf Hitler Campbell, in spite of the possibility of the child's name causing major problems for him later in life. Can you imagine what it will be like for him when future employers see his full name? Or when kids in school begin to understand what it means? Teasing might be the least of Adolf's problems.

I'm not crazy about the name Messiah, but it's still better than the names most hipsters give their kids.

Can't imagine this will stand.

To quote the Child Support Magistrate, “The word Messiah is a title and it’s a title that has only been earned by one person and that one person is Jesus Christ,”

Oh, boy. Nobody tell the Jews. Or you know, any of those other wrong religions.

I know a woman named Candy. She has relatives named Bobbi-jo. There are other names like that in the family I just can't remember them now.
