I dont really agree with that. Yes, the movie added more characters to the island, but it also brought the attention of Levine, who brought the attention to Malcolm, Thorne, Carr, Benton, Sarah and Kelly. Plus, all the characters (sans malcolm) are idiots. Pure idiots. Eric may have screamed his way in to many people's feelings of annoyance, but at least he wasn't an idiot (other than going on the island in the first place )

That's one of the main things that irritates me about TLW. I don't like a single character, except malcolm.




I agree. That's something JP4 needs to deal with. The extinction of these creatures.

The thing with TLW is that I find the characters a lot more memorable.

But as long as you like Malcolm, really don't care about what you think of TLW.

The idea of extinction is something I would really like to see.

I like the idea of a modern diease killing the island dinos and that leads to a team going and trying to save the dinos.

What a stupid team they'll be.

Why would they be stupid for going to island to find out why the dinos are going poof. Could lead to maybe a mass extinction deal and lead to human dieases and humankind going poof too.

Now if we where to see any one from other three films. Who would everyone like to see.

I too wold like to see either of them myself and maybe tim or his sister. They cold always say hey became scientists or something in the many years past.

It wouldn't be that much of a stretch for either of the original children given that their grandfather ran INGEN.

You know, other than making money, the reason I'm still not convinced about this film is because, what is their burning reason to make this movie? What story must they tell to reach us? I mean Jurassic Park 4 for God sake, can someone please tell me?

Well I was pretty much the same way with Apes, so if I was proven wrong, these two writers could be the ones to do the same.

Hopefully I can say the same for this. I can't right now. If Spielberg was directing I would be more optimistic. If Johnson is returning I'd be but not as much.

They'd be as stupid as William H. Macy and his wife were in JP3 to go to that island, and any human being would have to be very stupid to go looking for living dinosaurs after what happened in The Lost World.

I recall TLW had some very lazy mistakes. They forgot how many kids Malcolm had. They even got the number of people who died in the last movie wrong.

I still can't believe it was directed by Spielberg.

Nobody said Kelly was Malcolm's only child, and everyone thought Nedry just took off and probably never found his body.

Malcolm said he had like, 3 or 4 kids in JP1, I don't think they even acknowledged that in TLW.

Chuck Cunningham Syndrome? They said three people died. I can think of five (granted I just watched the movie a few days ago).

Either way it was a bad movie. And that's not just my opinion. The franchise went downhill with the sequel, and only got worse with the second.

Not only that, Malcolm felt like a completely different character in TLW. Of course, he went 'crazy' but his characterization was so bland from the charismatic and neurotic Malcolm we got in the first film.

Gennaro, Muldoon, Arnold....and Nedry, but they might have thought he got onto the ship and not ever known what actually happened to him.

Just because Kelly's the only one of Malcolm's children we see, it's nowhere said she's the only one.

Yes. That was why the lawyer was there (to investigate the death). Still, wouldn't the notice Nedry never reappeared?

Well he stole dinosaur DNA, so it's not implausible that after something like that, he'd want to collect his big fat paycheck from Dodgson's company and disappear into some Caribbean island or something.

I don't see why everyone hates on the lost world so much. Sure, the dialogue may be chessey and the characters may not be all that likeable or smart lol but it's not the worst movie in the world. To this day there are tons of movies worst than the lost world.

I agree about the embryos. It would have made more sense than the "oh by the way, we bred them on this other island, then moved them to the park", which totally contradicted what we saw in Jurassic Park.

Just get Aaron Sorkin to write a prequel dealing with the founding of Jurassic Park .

I dont understand the reason why this hasnt been cranked out yet. I mean we got 3 transformers movies in 5 years time.
