I've read them before.. but I never have time to read! I think my constant time on the road would be amazing If I DL'ed them.

No director or cast, unfinished script...and it's gonna be in theaters in "two years"? If that's the time table they're really going for, this movie is gonna be in trouble...another rush job like JP3. Sigh. Why can't they do this right?

Maybe he was talking out of his ass? Maybe it'll be at least started in two years?

I always thought an interesting premise would be a rival company starts its own island but with cross-species dinosaurs.

Just imagine a T-Rex with Pterodactyl wings flying after you lol

I suspect they will befriend one dino who will become the team pet helping them fight all the other ones trying to bite the **** out of them. That is the one angle they have yet to do.

Or they could have inGen develop a special cereal that increases the dinos IQ. Then Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum would have to defend the new smart dinos against John Hammonds evil brother who wants to use his own company's cereal that DRAINS the dinos IQ. His ultimate goal to use the dumb dinos in a traveling scary circus.

That would have been a good plot for the animated series. I always wondered how that never got off the ground.

The JP films have been degrading in quality since the first one was released. However I see new confidence in the game that came out in 2011 which was better than all of the previous movies.

What is a reasonable idea for this movie? What if one of the dinosaurs gets off island and kills enough people the US government decides its time to raze the islands and destroy the dinosaur population for good. Forget Alan Grant, who says he needs to return? JP is too big for one paleontologist. What if one of the evacuated scientists from InGen who helped create the dinosaurs now works for the US government and is sent back to one of the islands to survey where the population is concentrated so the killing can go effectively. He is caught between his duty and his affection for the animals to live on. He must battle his fellow team of scientists to prevent the destruction of the islands.

There was a Jurassic Park toy series that went with that concept. I had something that looked like a raptor with poison dart frog-esque skin coloring and stegosaurus spikes.

I want a JP film about Roland Tembo and his bro from The Lost World. They were the only characters I could root for in that film.

A hunter story could work. Have the first act of the film be the hunter and some rich guys in Africa or something. One of his clients asks if he wants to shoot something bigger. They go to the island and the second act is them hunting some big stuff and then the **** goes down and the entire third act is them running for their lives.

That was somewhat part of the plot for Jurassic Park: The Lost World

I liked the roland character alot and I thought he was the real meat and potatoes of the lost world. Then all of the sudden his character is just thrown away once the T-rex hits mainland. Its wierd, maybe it was the actor but he had minimal scenes and dialogue but yet was more effective then the leading man goldblum. It would have been a fitting end to his character if he joined the other two in san diego to catch the T-rex and then ultimately dies while capturing the T-rex. Sort of a irony that he could catch the T-rex in his backyard but couldnt in his.
