Jurassic World - Part 10

Agree to disagree bc they all should've waited to locate the implant before making their next move.

Owen didn't design the creature and its capabilities. Owen didn't know all the details about the creature. Owen was following orders when he went to inspect the paddock. Owen was informed that the creature was not in the paddock by the thermal scanners. Owen was not the one who opened the gate that the creature escaped through. Owen did not know that the creature would be able to break the partially opened gate.

How does all that add up to "it was Owen's fault"?

I initially said it was Owen's fault, then you told me about that thermal scanning and I corrected it to partly his fault since he suggested to check the pen.

I thought the whole escape scene was straight forward, from the Irex tricking them and thermal scanners to escaping through the wall. I kind of didnt like the idea though of what the irex was made up of being classified other then a plot point for later. In real life they would have known everything those evil scientist used but its a movie about dinosaurs in a disney like park.

It also shows they underestimated the Irex right away thniking she was just another dinosaur.

As far as who fault it was I would say claires and the evil scientist.

Movie would hbeade an extra $150 mil this past weekend if that scene was there

That whole classified thing was what caused the issue, had Owen known it had some raptor in it.

I don't see how it was Owen's fault. He was told it wasn't in the paddock and had no reason to believe otherwise.

Saw it yesterday love it the reviews had me worried but I had fun with the movie the only thing that bothered me was the whole military application of the animals if that is where the next movie is heading than I'm good not seeing them

at this point though I will support anything Chris Pratt does I love the guy

Definitely, if Owen had all the facts straight away and knew what the I-Rex was made out of he would have taken a different approach in the first place.

Not even Claire nor Masrani really knew about the I-Rex' abilties and he was cautious in thinking that the paddock may have some weakness given what happened with Hammond, but Wu and Hoskins acted on their backs and when time came they lacked vital information. Masrani even says that giving camouflage abilities to a theme park attraction (which has to, you know, be seen by the audience) is an idiotic idea.

Not only that, but Owen instructed them how to subdue I-Rex on several instances, and no one listened. They feared killing it for profit-driven reasons.

The I-Rex escaping and killing all those people is all Owen's fault.

Um yes it is. It was Owen who suggested to go in the pen instead of checking the gps implant first for its whereabouts.

I don't remember that part, so instead of Owen's fault entirely, it's Owen's fault partly then.

It is his fault partly bc Claire already told him about the gps implant. They all should've ascertained its location using the implant first before making their next move.

Agree to disagree bc they all should've waited to locate the implant before making their next move.

No doubting that. Which is why it was Claire's and Owen's fault.

I initially said it was Owen's fault, then you told me about that thermal scanning and I corrected it to partly his fault since he suggested to check the pen.

What the hell are you smoking dude. That must be some good stuff. Or were you just not paying any attention during the movie at all? These posts are just, wow. :loco: Phantasm explained it all in great detail and it still goes right over your head. Others explained it as well. Yikes.

Love this kind of stuff.

Agreed.

I saw the movie today, and it was awesome ! I wasn't convinced that Pratt was a good choice for this movie, but I was proven wrong. Also, while the plot was simple enough it kept me at the edge of my seat, haha.

I was surprised a bit at Dr. Wu's portrayal as a shady scientist but it was a nice twist. Also, I expected Irrfan Khan to be eaten by some dino, I was proven wrong again.

Also we see Parasaurolophus as a 3D hologram, but did they show it in the park ? And was Spinosauraus also present in this movie ?

(I need to see this movie again. :woot: )

There were Para's during the gyrosphere scene, they were among the herd. And we only see the Spino skeleton which Rexy breaks through.

Has Spider-Who ? seen the movie ?
