It is totally worth seeing in the theater.

Opinions of the movie vary but I don't think anyone is regretting going to see it on the big screen, from what I've read.

The Lego game is tons of fun btw for anyone that is getting it or wants to. :)

Then I'll probably see it at one of the cheaper theaters nearby with some friends then.

So did this surpass the Avengers' opening wkd? Or is it a strong numero dos?

It'll match Avengers take after today ends.

Same could be said for any big film you don't like.
For example a certain other may release this year scoring in the 70's on RT.
How indeed.

No doubt. That movie...ugh...

All I know is I enjoyed watching this movie so much more. I accept its minimal flaws and it has stuck with me long after viewing it on Thursday.

It's refreshing to have a summer blockbuster that isn't so self indulging and "world building" and just wants you to sit back and enjoy the ride!

I know it's going to happen, but man I wish the franchise would end here. It was such a perfect sequel to the first film.

So, that is a no then correct? Doesn't BO reports count weekends as Th-Sat? The weekend total headlines always seem to show up on Sunday.

The weekend reports released Sunday morning are only an estimates. The actuals are often higher.

Just saw this movie. I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. It's definitely a worthy sequel to Jurassic Park. I really liked that there were certain scenes that were similar to JP. It really respected the movie. Larry was definitely my favorite character. Glad he survived the movie.

Well, this gave me what Godzilla could not.

A solid 7.

The best way I can describe my opinion on this movie is that it's a 7 that actually feels like an 8 to just how damn entertaining it is. Which leads to an internal debate over whether that actually makes it an 8, if that's the honest feeling I had walking out.

I mean, I could nitpick a lot of things about it but in the end I don't really care to because I just enjoyed myself watching it and thought overall it did a LOT right. The part of me that tries to put on my critic hat and be objective loses out to the inner child on this one. That's it, decision made- I'm voting 8.

Jurassic World was rancid crap.

I laughed at stuff that wasn't intended on being funny in context to this "movie".
The audiance laughed at the ending. That corny line and no one clapped, people groaned.

It was bad. It was a
Cgi fest.

I kept thinking Mst3k

The entire beginging was boring, I get it your sister is weird around kids... Groan.
CGI Fest.

The moment the Cartoon chicken foot salmed down we agreed we should have walked out.

This movie felt like a cartoon.

The Park seemed small, Jurassic Park appeared more massive and grandoise compared to Jurassic World.

The background extras contiously running for there lives (or there $8 an hr and boxed lunch for 16hrs a day work) behind the main stars as they banter back and fourth.
Groaaaan.

This is entertainment.
I couldn't be drunk in a passive state if mind and enjoy this schlock.

Lol selling your souls for the Lizard and Pyramid symbolism at the end. Siiick

No one I have spoken to had anything good to say as people have on messageboards about Jurassic World.
Im feeling DUPED.

I need to make time to see this again! It was a lot of fun, even the characters were fine for what they were. I don't expect deep multi-dimensional personas as the Jurassic movies never portrayed them as that.

Actually, the first Jurassic Park is known for its good cast and likable, well-rounded characters. Deep vs. one-dimensional is a false dichotomy.

JP characters were very likable, true. I think the characterization of the characters on JW isn't detracting me from enjoying the movie and from giving it a relatively high score as I was very skeptical before seeing it.

SPOILERS

Its like what Have I Learned from JURASSIC WORLD LMAO

if an amazing creature is created and does its full capabilities you must imprison it, torture it and when its at its most pathetic moment you kill it.

I felt bad for that thing.
Its like NO, you must be a slave to the park even though you were made for so much more.

What does teach me? To be a comforiat tool in society even if you stand out amongst everyone you will be denied that and taught you are wrong! Uggghhh

Creeepy. I felt bad for that Hybrid thing. Wasnt its fault.

It's actually Malcolm's fault that the blood-sucking lawyer got eaten.
