Jurassic World - - Part 11

So, in the next one they are in a secret facility, messing with Wu's new creations. The science research team finds a way to actually bring species forward in time, but a group of people accidentally end up in the Jurassic period, for real, along with this new dinosaur-hybrid eggs that could potentially change the course of history and natural evolution?

The people on these threads certainly don't lack imagination. :woot:

Isla Sorna where Dinos are allowed to roam around freely, without any interference of man, but there are vague news reports of an asteroid on a collision course towards Earth, and scientists have calculated it's trajectory... and it's will most likely fall on Isla Sorna ! Save the Dino's campaign picks up on the Net.. a movement to save the remaining Dinos... will they survive ? JURASSIC PARK - Age of Extinction. :D

You know that this would mean that they would finally have to do Dinosaurs with feathers right? Are we really ready for that?

Also, I was just looking around and I remember this book with the spectacular artwork. Anyone else remember this series and the tv shows it produced? Wouldn't this be a good inspiration for a future sequel? Or even its own adaptation?

Oh no probable anatomically correct dinosaurs?

It's funny that they need to make the dinosaurs anatomically incorrect to appease people.

Well, to be fair a lot of things work in movies precisely because they don't follow real life. It goes from acting (in a good movie, people are as expressive as it's needed to make the scene work, while in real life some reactions can be either too subdued or too extravagant) to script (because the audience will forgive the impossible, not the improvable) to staging (Cloverfield had to make the Statue of Liberty's head bigger because the correct size looked "fake").

For some reason a lot of people think the Statue of Liberty is way bigger than what it actually is.

YES. I've been wanting a faithful Dinotopia film for years. The TV miniseries was utter garbage.

Rise of the Jurassic Planet

T-Rex- Dino not kill Dino!

THANKS A LOT GHOSTBUSTERS 2!

Is it because the base is big, giving the illusion that it's huge? Does that mean that in real life, Logan and Sabertooth wouldn't be able to fight on her head? ;0

I wonder when will we get news about the bluray. I cant want to see what sort of special featers this movie ends up with.

Jurassic Era = Dawn of the Reptilian shape shifters,

then we have a whole new series of science fiction films.

LOL I kid

The only real solution is to make Jurassic Universe with cosmic powered dinosaurs.

Mmmm maybe they could move to another Lost-like island with secret hatches and/or labs underground and make it classic Jurassic Park with dinosaurs running around but like a very claustrophobic suspense-horror adventure film, with people trapped in different locations or something. Jurassic Park meets Alien or something like that.

If they really insist on a sequel, the only idea that I think they could explore is the idea of poachers going to Isla Sorna to steal dinosaurs to sell on the black market. Through the efforts of John Hammond, Site B had become a national park of sorts, under joint protection of the US and Costa Rican governments, and they've set up various ranger stations around the island to preserve and protect the island's wildlife from these individuals. That might tread a bit too closely to Lost World, though.

Another idea I had is a bit too "out there" and might skew a bit too much into sci-fi/fantasy territory even by Jurassic Park standards. Set it some time in the distant future, where scientists are actually sent back in time to prehistoric earth to observe and study genuine dinosaurs. There are, of course, people within the group who are attempting to bring some specimens back to present-day Earth, because consumers are over the whole "fake dinosaurs" thing that Jurassic Park can only offer to them.

Again, probably too "out there." And if humanity developed time travel, I'm not sure sending people back in time to see dinosaurs is high up on the list of priorities :funny:.

I would be fine with seeing more out there sci-fi/fantasy dinosaur related films although maybe that could be done by a different series than Jurassic Park.

Ha, I pitched a similar idea a couple of pages back. :oldrazz:

Those elements would definitely need exploration in another series (in reference to Iceman). You don't want to push the envelope in that way because it won't sit well with the audience. They need something that can be as eye catching as JW without going back to either island or going with an absurd idea that sounds horrible on paper & looks even worse on-screen.

But I have a lot of faith in Universal...with their dominating performance this year, I highly doubt they'll be making too many (if any) stupid moves. I'm not saying they can do no wrong, I'm just expecting them to carefully craft the follow-ups to their big successes as opposed to throwing out anything.

HISHE is on point

Should we be expecting this to hit $1.5 billion over the weekend?

Surprised they didn't call the movie Jurassic Island so the sequel could be called Jurassic World. Jurassic War has a nice ring to it ;)

I wish more of the film had taken place at night, and that there had been a sequence with the dinosaurs in the rain.

Maybe in the sequel.
