I really don't know if this is going to go over very well or not...

But, I can't help but feel somewhat responsible for the closing of the other thread. And just because myself and a couple other people can't get over our personal differences doesn't mean everyone else shouldn't be able to discuss the movie, good or bad.

Like I said, I might just be pushing it here, and asking for another explosion. But that's not my intent. I'm hoping to open this place back up for some discussion, because I don't think it's fair that people who want to civilly discuss this film get punished via a closed thread because of myself, and a couple others, and the endless bickering.

So if this thread can stay open for everyone to have their discussion (*crosses fingers*) I promise to behave, and not get into 10 page long arguements to ruin it for everyone anymore.

Despite the endless bickering going on, there actually WAS some intelligent and civil debate going on, with good points brought up on both sides.

I don't even know if there's anything more that needs to be said on this movie, but we're all here for a reason, are we not?

The thread had run its course and had become a quagmire of rinse-and-repeat arguments. At least now people are being forced to contribute to other threads such as those on the sequels and spin-offs - which is more productive as those are upcoming projects where our voices might have more influence.

I've never liked animal cruelty even when the horse being flogged is already dead.

The days of listless bashing and fighting over this movie are over. It's been almost a year--we know who feels how about this film.

I have another idea that I think will satisfy this desire to continue complaining about this film.
