Just bought a DS

yeah if I was constantly on the go or in a big city where I was having to take the subway all over or something, I'd have the go simply because it would be easy to have, no worries over disks and cartritdges

no I'm not paying for the new PSP at all. I barely play the one I have. The DS is more entertaining

The reason I got rid of my PSP is, despite having some great games with killer graphics, it just doesn't work well as a portable system. Sure, it's handheld, but it's too large to take anywhere; the screen can't be protected like the DS; the load times are way too long to justify playing in short spurts; and the battery charge length is short (4-5 hours on average).

It's still a great system, but it doesn't have what I think a portable system should -- long battery length, quick load times, games that are fun to play in short spurts or long bursts, easy to protect and stick in your pocket, and flat out fun.

That's why I don't roll with my PSP that much. It's an awesome piece of hardware and the software it runs on is great, but the screen is too vulnerable. My screen is ****ed up. The DS is great to grab and go. Toss is in your bag, play when you're bored and then you can just continue on when your done, easy peasy

I've had my PSP for like over 3 years now and I've always just put it back in the case after I was done playing it. The screen is still pristine.

The case I have is pretty bulky, I always tossed my PSP in my pocket so I could play on my breaks at work, but the DS lites folding ability is much more convienient for pocket travel

This is why you can't have nice stuff. :(

The DS Lite is great for carrying around with you. I wear a lot of cargo pants and it fits nicely into one of my cargo pockets. Only problem is that it sometimes bangs against stuff because I'm not used to that extra bit of bulk on the side of my leg when I'm walking through doorways and such. But you get used to that and the DS Lite's sturdy enough to handle the adjustment period.

I bought one of those cases for the DSi. It came with headphones, screen protector, extra stylus's, case for the games, as well as a leather case for the DSi. It's rather bulky but it doesn't bother me. :) It'll keep my DSi looking shiny and new. :)

Eh, I got screen protectors for my DS. Scuffs on the outside don't bother me so long as it plays the games okay and the screens are in good condition.

Screen protectors definitely come in handy if you play games like Ninja Gaiden, which are completely touch screen oriented. The DS screens are pretty durable I find, though.

Even if no one in the history of DS ownership had ever gotten a scratch on their screen from regular use, I would still have screen protectors. I'm paranoid about protecting touch screens for some reason. Literally the first thing I did after I got my iPod Touch was to slap a screen protector on that, too. I changed it once and the second one has never come off.

My telephone, iPod Touch and DSi all have screen protectors on them. Ironically my PSP doesn't.

I wish I bought a screen protector for my DS phat. I can't find one now and it's kinda pointless anyway.

Last I looked they only had protectors for the Lite.

Screen protectors have always been shoulda woulda coulda's for me. I have the LG Voyager and damn I wish I had a screen protector for that and my DS and my Zune (though I doubt it would'a helped cuz the only screen problem I have is the dust under the screen)

I don't have a screen protector on my phone because it's not a touch screen and, frankly, I don't really care about my phone that much. I make maybe 2 or 3 calls a week.

I never did pay all that much attention to my phone, but since I have the touch screen, I should have got the protector. Normally I roll with a flip phone
