I've never thought a game on my old DS wasn't bright enough.
I ride in the car playing my DS lite all the time. When I had the DS fat it was kinda tough if the sunlight hit it directly, washed out the color a bit. But My DS lite does amazing in the car and in any kind of light. I recommend the DS Lite over the DS Fat if for no other reason the brightness in the DS lite is such an improvment over the DS fat
Take-Two’s DS exclusive Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars sold just 88,704 copies in the States during March, according to Silicon Alley Insider sources.
Analysts from EEDAR and Wedbush Morgan had expected the title, which has garnered a Metascore of 94, the highest ever for a DS game, to sell between 200,000 and 450,000 copies between its March 17 US debut and the end of the month.
Hotel Dusk is cool. I haven't played much of it since I've been playing Sonic Chronicles instead, but what I played was fun. A few weeks into owning the DS Lite and it's working out well for me. I beat Gunstar Super Heroes last week after many, many attempts and a switch to easy difficulty (I apparently really, really suck at the game) and I've gotten up to chapter 4 in Sonic Chronicles. The only problem I've encountered with the DS so far is that I tend to play it hunched over tables rather than holding it up, so my neck starts to hurt after about an hour.
Yeah me too. I bought the DS for games like Pokemon, Mario&Luigi Partners in time and some of the 64 remakes (Super Mario64, Diddy Kong Racing). I actually enjoy all the mario games and such. That's where the DS thrives for me. It's bright, colorful and addictive to play. I bought the PSP for the PSN PS1 downloads.Yeah, I mostly got my DS for the RPG throwbacks and adventure games. It's tough to find decent adventure games on full-scale consoles and the ones on PC often tend to be a bit too dry for my tastes. But the genre's thriving on the DS.
The problem is the touch controls. I feel more confident with the touch controls when I'm not holding it at awkward angles or worrying about both hands shaking when I'm trying to do power moves in Sonic Chronicles rather than just one. I played Gunstar Heroes mostly lying down and I never had a problem because I was pushing buttons that stayed in one place and not worrying about whether my stylus' tip was actually inside the circle I was supposed to be tracing or whatever.
Thats the PSP's problem, terrible games. I have 10 or so games and the ones I play the most are Megaman Maverick HunterX and God of War. Besides those I play the games I downloaded from the PSN the most. Crash Bandicoot all the way and on friday I'm downloading RE: Directors CutI got my PSP in 2005?
I think in total I have like probably around only 7 games? The games I've liked were always few and far between. I had God of War: Chains of Olympus and didn't get a new game until Resistance: Retribution. I think the next game I would be interested in is Metal Gear.
