Interesting comparison to the matrix.

The difference is, the Matrix was a great movie followed by two succesively 'suckier' ones.

X-Men improved with every movie, and yes I carry that over to X3.

Before Return of the King came out, me and my family sat down and watched the Extended Editions of both The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers right before we went and saw it. There wasn't a dry eye in the family when we walked out of ROTK

I'm looking forward to getting the X3 DVD so that I can watch all 3 movies back-to-back-to-back. I'm almost positive that it'll be just as good an experience as the Matrix trilogy.
