Yes, this thread has been done to death but now with the new Justice League roster out now. Who do you think would win?

Roster:Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Hal Jordan, Black Canary, Red Tornado, Black Lightning, Hawkgirl, Vixen, and Arsenal

The Avengers

Roster: Captain America, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Ronin, Spider-Woman, Luke Cage, and the Sentry

I chose this thread because there would actually be a good debate here in the Marvel board about who is more powerful and cooler.

I have the feeling if I posted it in the DC everyone would just say the Justice League

Haha! Hey dude, I get you. I'm not actually a DC ****e (Although i'm probably coming off as one). But that Avengers line up against that JLA line up, it seemed kind of easy for the JLA to mop up house.

Now if it was that JLA against Busiek and Perez's Avengers, i'd be voting the other way

What's to stop everyone in the Marvel board from just saying the Avengers would win, though?

Anyway, I voted JLA. There's really not a lot of ways for the Sentry -- the only true cosmic-powered threat on that team -- to win against a combination of Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern, especially considering that his powers fluctuate a lot based on a variety of circumstances.

as he's written now he's probably slightly more powerful than a herald of galactus
