Justice League or Justice League of America?

I think it wouldnt be smart of WB to go with Justice League of America, it would attract more people if it didnt have of America, imho

For a time, IMDbPro had it listed as the "Untitled Justice League of America Project". Since the OWF story on Barry Osborne being attached to the project (which is still kind of suspect to me), IMDb has now retitled their database entry as "Justice League of America". I understand the concerns associated with the use of America abroad but there is just as much a concern with not having that in the title here in America. Saying that I don't think that is would be a problem if the project were retitled as "Justice League" for the overseas market.

Good point. It's not unusual for films to have different titles depending on the country of release.

its not that. Not all of the characters are 'american'. There is a kryptonian, an amazonian and an atlantean. Plus their exploits would seem exclusive to america when they are not.

"Justice League" is just fine. For one thing, the League itself is international/intergalactic. Secondly, Justice League is just a better film title that Justice League of America - it's more concise and catchy.

yeah but, essentially they're all heroes who live in and operate out of america. plus, they're icons of american pop culture. and how about the fact its the name of the damn team, always has been. taking the america out of it would be a clear sign that they're afraid of offending people or that they're ashamed, and neither should be the case.

Telling people that they should be ashamed of and hide their nationality to not offend or put off some idiots in some other countries is a completely asinine, offensive, and absurd idea. And the fact that you can't make a simple reply without resorting to childish personal attacks just goes to show your lack of any maturity or respect, which would probably explain your first comment.
