What were they thinking?

Thanks for reminding me about this abortion of a film. I actually saw this mother****er in theaters! IN THEATERS! :csad:

-sigh- I too saw this in theaters when I was little. I have no clue what my mother was thinking.

I really liked this movie when I was a kid.

Boy oh boy, I had no sense.

I remember feeling sad when my mom decided to rent it for me. I don't think I told her though.
I should call her up and give her hell for it.

Saw the Nostalgia Critic cover this not too long ago. Thankfully I never watched the film.

I know other sites hotlink from Amazon--but can we do it too? :hehe:

I remember seeing this when I was about six, and even then I thought it was fairly meh. And this is coming from someone who loved Batman & Robin and The Phantom Menace as a kid.

Whoa. Phantom Menace is leagues better than Kazaam and Batman and Robin.

Whoever thought that a professional athlete could have made it as an actor deserves a nice big slap upside the head. Shaq's movie career is about as impressive as his video game career.

SHAQ-FU!!!! I forgot about that ridiculous game.

And let's not forget his god-awful rap career. His music sounded like an autistic kids talent show.

lol. Not too long ago I was in a dvd store that had a collection of Shaq Movies (Kazaam, Steel, Blue Chips) for about $6.99 (they were used, I believe. Though the original owners would probably never admit that:yay:). But the funny and sad thing is ... while I ultimately didn't buy it ...

it took me more than three seconds to decide not to lol.

And I can't promise to have those convictions if I run into the collections again lol.

Yeah because he was playing himself. :p

Exactly, they should destroy every copy of Kazaam, Steel, and those god awful rap albums. If you own a copy of Shaq Fu, you can send it in to have it destroyed. That game was by far one of the worse games I've ever played, it easily joined Superman 64. I remember renting that game and taking it back an hour later.

i got that moive. don't forget about steel. its superhero moive with Shaq.

Don't forget this movie taught us that pirating music is fun, if you're nice to your kid that you abandoned years ago!
