Keith Olbermann goes off:

No. Because of what I've seen......over and over. He never has anyone on there that will take him to task. NO ONE! They all agree with him. War bad......"You're right Keith". Bush evil......"You're right Keith"......Economy Stinks....."You're right Keith". Al Queada are misunderstood...."You're right Keith".

Bill has people on that argue with him all the time. He a Geraldo were going off on each other over that border issue. He's not afraid to take them on. Have both sides on your show, if you call yourself a journalist.

Err, how about "If you call yourself a journalist, report the damn news with as little bias as possible and keep your opinions to yourself. Otherwise you're just an OpEd columnist with a TV show, and that's NOT a real journalist."

jag

Yep...Bill deals with reality. Olbermann only has people on his show that agree with him. He's a punk.

Do you enjoy watching O'Reilly scream at his guests like the big immature clueless child he is?

O'Reilly is a disgrace. Did you guys see what he did to that kid, Jeremy Glick? O'Reilly invited this guy on the show, a guy whose Dad had died in the Sept. 11 attack, and ****ing yelled at the kid, telling him his father would be ashamed of him, simply 'cause the kid didn't support Bush. The kid asked very legitamite questions and debated very well, while O'Reilly simply yelled at him, cut his mike, and ended the interview. As if that wasn't enough, the next night of the show, O'Reilly made up outright lies about the kid, and said he supported Al Quada, when that was nothing remotely like what Glick was trying to say. O'Reilly never apologised for it.

That's why O'Reilly is killing him in the ratings. :yay:

but o'reilly's ratings have been consistently shrinking while olbermann's have been going up. in my opinion, people are getting bored with o'reilly's one and only selling point, his use sensationalism.

when people disagree with o'reilly on his show he either talks over them, won't let them answer, cuts off their mic or all of the above. that's being a punk.

exactly. i watched that whole interview. what a disgrace. according to glick, after the "interview" was over, one of the staff members advised glick to vacate the studio before o'reilly found him and beat the **** out of him. what a professional journalist bill is. :whatever:

It's funny how insecure O'Reilly is about Olbermann. Have you ever seen or heard about how upset he gets when anyone says his name?

Olbermann is my hero. He takes Bush to task like no one else on T.V. Everyone treats that crazy murderer with kid gloves but he doesn't. I absolutely love Countdown and am glad to hear about his growing ratings because it is one of the best and the most important show on T.V.

O,crappy is a crude rude dumb loud clown who pretends he won an arguement because he cuts his guest off.

the best part is he won't even utter olbermann's name. that's how much he hates him. poor, poor bill-o. he's completely useless if he's not able to to bully someone.

What can be said that hasn't already? Of course he is right. Whats sad is that he is right. Outside of him, I see few reporters that actually will stand and ask difficult questions, even still. Bill Maher was banished to HBO for doing so.

Good job, Keith, for actually showing some emotion on the other side of the ball. All O'Reilly does is exactly what Keith just did, RANT. So if anyone says that Keith shouldn't show his true colors in a report, go look at O'Reilly, then tell me why you are such a hypocrite. Its time someone had the balls to actually not just report, but feel passionate about this subject.

Keith saves his rants for the last segment of his show, when something merits them. With Bill-O, the ranting is incessant throughout the show

Keith Olberman, Bill O'Reily, Matthews, Hannity&Combs, Glenn Beck, Fox News, MSNBC, CNN Headlines News(which like MTV, is not what it once was.... why even call it headlines news anymore) are all tabloids reporters and shows, pretending to be journalist and unbias news programs.

They are opinionated commentators and broadcasters design to influence public opinion and divide, distract, dumb-down the populous from a real perceive agenda. An agenda that is not hidden, secret, or shadowy; yet played out on the surface. Most know this, but are very apathetic.

wow, that was pretty great.
except for the fact where you kind of said nothing.
put forth the agenda, or risk being as "distracting" as these "tabloid journalists" you so readily deride.

I've never liked Olbermann. He always seems like he complains about everything, but doesn't do anything. He's so angry, but his anger does nothing. I'm almost 100% sure that if he was talking to Bush face to face, he wouldn't go off on him like this. That's the people we need.

Also, the whole "Goodnight and Good Luck" thing to end every show kind of rubs me the wrong way. It makes me feel as if he thinks that he's actually better than he is. There is a difference between Olbermann and Murrow. Murrow along with Pulitzer, Tarbell, Hurst, did something to get resualts. They used their jobs and positiongs to get stuff done. Olbermann just sits there and yells at the camera. That won't do anything.

I see what you're saying. He only really gets angry when he's talking about the war in Iraq and I can't really fault him for that. He's also pretty self deprecating on a regular basis, so I can't really agree with the vanity thing.

I'll always remember him from telling the sports scores on ESPN.

What a *****e!
