What? :loco:

In June came a video of the ‘KFConsole’, a “finger-lickin’ good video game console” that comes with a built-in grill.

Timing-wise it was hot on the heels of the reveal of the PlayStation 5 and so the video was dismissed as a marketing joke even as it came through legitimate and well-regarded gaming hardware manufacturer Cooler Master.

This week, Intel representative Mark Walton has confirmed that the machine is no joke saying: “Yes it’s real, Yes, it’s powered by Intel. And yes, it has a chicken warmer.”

The KFConsole boasts a ‘Chicken Chamber,’ a compartment in which chicken can be placed to warm while they play. According to Cooler Master, the gaming system’s natural heat and airflow system can be utilised to keep chicken warm.

The machine, shaped like a KFC bucket, is also no slouch on the gameplay front and said to offer support for 240Hz output on 4k displays with a top-end 9th Gen Intel mobile chip inside (said to be worth about $1,000), an ASUS RTX-supported hot-swappable mini-GPU, and two Seagate NVMe 1TB SSDs. It is apparently VR-ready and boasts ray tracing.

No price or release date has yet been set.

I want a bargain bucket of old classic games as well as a bargain bucket of chicken and chips with gravy, maybe some coleslaw on the side.

Haha it’s pretty funny. Still, it makes you wonder what other big companies would make a console and what it would be like?

Well I'd hate to see this in Wikipedia listed alongside Ps5 and Series X as ninth gen consoles. It sounds jokey to me. Like sure it is probably a working console but would the average joe go to Kfc just to buy their gaming console and what about the games. Its like a very eXpensive happy meal that you would just look at after a week of playing.
