KFC tweaks Colonel Sanders logo

About time they brought him back....they tried to ignore him and Kentucky there for a few years....BUT THE COLONEL IS BACK!!!

He's younger and thinner looking...and for the last few years they tried not to use any images at all of the Colonel.

Yeah, They also changed the name from "Kentucky Fried Chicken" to the shorter, hipper "KFC". :whatever:

I liked it better when it was Kentucky Fried Chicken.

It's like how in the 70's...all of the movie studios changed their logos to new hipper things.....and they all have gone back to the old ones now.

When corporations try to make things "hip" it almost always fails miserably.

i heard they had to change it because of all the chemicals and such they were using to treat their chicken stock, it was technically no longer considred 'chicken'.

for comparison....

Wow. An apron. How eye catching. Their chicken still makes me *BLAH!*. :csad:

the apron makes him look less like a white, southern plantation owner. :o

how the hell is this newsworthy?
Bolder colors AND a more well-defined likeness? It's huge.

I preferred the hip-hop cartoon colonel that did the cabbage patch and wore floppy berets.
