man, the states is messed up. At my boarding school, people got busted for doobs after exams were finished. They got denied going to graduation and formal, but they still graduated. This guy waved at his family from the stage.

there is always this talk about today's youth being 'crazy'... but this story clearly shows that it's today's adults that are a little misaligned.

When I was younger, I thought the movie Footloose was a little unrealistic. There was no way a town could be that strict about the behavior of the teenagers. It had to be an exaggeration.

Turns out truth really can be stranger than fiction.

Damn, no one would've gotten a diploma at my graduation with rules like that. It was kind of cold during the ceremony, but the adminstration still had it outside, so we "acted out", we not only had beach balls, but at least two blow up dolls, booed the valivictorian off stage when the speech passed the 5 minute mark, ripped up our programs and threw them in the air as confetii, it was great. Actually the parents, family and friends in the stands were so cold, they kept groups of them left to go across street to get coffee or hot chocolate to warm up.
