Shocked there is no thread on this show.

Feudal-era Korea with a zombie outbreak. Stunningly well-made with good characters and the best zombie stuff in years and years. Every setpiece is a reminder of how far the genre has fallen from what it can be.

S2 just released on Netflix and the show still rocks as much as ever.

Yeah this series kicks all kinds of ass. Great production design and action set pieces and they definitely don't hold back on the gore if that's what your looking for. Can't wait for Season 3.

It’s so perfect to watch in times like these. Not only with dealing with an epidemic but also dealing with leaders that are very much not up to the job. So highly recommended plus korean swordplay is ace to watch

I’m almost done with S1. Most of it are cliche but I love how this is TWD meets GOT. The Chos are 100% Lannisters. :hehe:

I thought the story and the characters were pretty simplistic and cliche. I almost stopped watching mid season 1. But the action was great though. Especially in the second season. The battles in the season 2 premiere and finale were just plain incredible .

Just finished S2 and I enjoyed the heck out of it! S2 is even better than the first one. I agree that the production and set design was superb. It really looked and felt like an expensive show. I quite liked that it became more GOT (with the politics and set designs) rather than TWD.

It's funny though because for a show that was quite cliche and predictable, I was surprised at the end. I really thought it would end with
all of them dying but then they didn't! And then that twist about the prince giving up the throne and all that... And then the hint of the 3rd season! I should have known though that there's more to come considering that it felt like things were wrapped up and there's still 30 mins to go... :funny:

I agree with all of this! :)

I also just finished season 2 and loved it. Can’t wait for more, it has a very interesting cliffhanger. I would also love to visit a lot of the real world locations

For the life of me, I couldn’t remember who “Ashin” was in the show. Finally figured out that it’s the mysterious lady teased at the end of the last episode of season 2. So this is a 90 minute origin story for her before season 3 I guess.

I really enjoyed Ashin of the North and after this introduction to the Ashin character I'm honestly even more excited for Season 3 and seeing how things will play out.

Also, kudos to Netflix for not half assing it when it comes to the production values of this show, because you could tell this tv special was pretty damn expensive.

So many gorgeous, sweeping shots throughout to the point where I almost thought I was watching a big budget film at times, especially when they really showed the scope of everything.
