Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

So you want an entire new game as DLC?

Well why not? We're in one part of the world during the current Amalur, why not have a sequel be another continent in addition to the current game? Eh, just way the think it should be done.:oldrazz:

So I played the ME3 demo, the single player version, beat it, and didn't get the N7 armor and holo daggers for Kingdoms of Amalur.

What did I do wrong? Do you get them by playing the multiplayer demo?

Well 2 things....

1, you need to be signed into the EA servers while playing the ME demo otherwise it can't register that you've played it, so yes, MP is probably the easiest way, or single player after you've signed into the Alliance network.

2, you don't get the N7 armour from the demo, you get that with the Online Pass for Kingdoms of Amalur. When you type in that code, it gives you access to the N7 armour, which you get from the special deliveries chest in Gorhart.

Ah, my mistake then...I misunderstood. I thought it was just play the demo, and get the stuff on the full game. So playing the demo won't get you the N7 armor or daggers eh? Damn it, I was looking forward to using them. Thanks for the info. Guess I should make an EA account anyway though. For the future.

Playing the demo WILL get you the daggers, you just need to sign into the Alliance Network.

If you own Kingdoms of Amalur, you should already have the N7 armour. And you need to EA online account to claim any of the ME 3 goodies from the Amalur demo too.

Got it.

For anyone who hasn't made it to Klurikon yet, watch yourself when you get there. I'm level 31 and carrying some strong swords, and I am still getting my ass kicked.

So I just beat the game now. Took me 72 hours, and about 145 quests all under my belt. :D

The ending was pretty neat, especially the part where...

You find out that Tirnoch, the God Gadflow is trying to bring in the moral world, is a dragon. I thought it was nice twist since dragons don't seem to be talked about much in the world of Amalur. They don't seem to exist. Which Ayln Shir goes on to explain why.

How many quests do you have left for 100% completion?

I don't know. As for right now, I have a total of 178 quests completed. The only thing I haven't done (that I know of) are the Travelers faction missions. But I'm not too interested in those.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (X360/PS3) – VIDEO REVIEW

Victor and Scott review baseball superstar, Curt Schilling's labor of love action-RPG..

vic gave it a 9 and scott gave it 4.5 and that's reason scott's been wearing a princess peach dress all this week. he lost a bet due his predictions and reasoning for scoring.

Damn son!!!! How did you do 33 missions between your last 2 posts?:wow:

If my calculations are correct, you did it all in under 24 hours.:oldrazz:

Yeah, I drained all the play value out of Amalur way too fast. :(

Achievements hint at additional Kingdoms of Amalur DLC

There's a reason Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning isn't called Kingdom of Amalur: Just the One, Thanks. Well, there are probably a few reasons it's not called that, but one that sticks out to us is the likelihood that Reckoning will have multiple DLC packs, if a group of new achievements listed by Xbox 360 Achievements is to be trusted.

The listing is labeled "DLC [Untitled DLC2]" and includes six achievements, five of which are secret. The known achievement is titled "Murder Most Fowl" and gives up 25 points for killing 50 Pteryx. The rest are super secret, but we imagine titles such as "Flipping the birds of prey" and "Cock-a-doodle-do your worst."

:awesome:

I've been playing for about 12 hours just doing sidequests and whatnot. It reminds me a lot of Deathspank hahah it's pretty rad. Is the Legend of Dead Kel DLC worth the price?

So this game looks intriguing, but I don't really know anybody who has played it. What do you guys think? I'm a fan of the elder scrolls series, so do you think this game warrants a purchase?

It's a lot of fun. I'm a big fan of the Deathspank games and it reminds me of them. A lot of repetitive quests but they're a lot of fun to do. I haven't even touched the main quest yet hahah.

I'm gonna start playing Amalur again after Teeth of Naros comes out. I'll get that and the Legend of Dead Kel at the same time. :D
