The voice over at the start gave me chills. It sounded like Hale is returning, which is a must. While I always enjoyed KOTOR, it was dated pretty quickly. It will be really nice if they nail this version. Give us a fully realized version, with great combat and visuals.

Now this, this is most welcome news. This is a perfect game for a modern remake. Sounds like they're respecting the story too, and not too focused on 're-imagining' which is music to my ears. I hope this is awesome and KOTOR2 follows.

Never played the originals, nor the MMO Bioware made in 2012. But I'm familiar with the setting and some characters. I'm all for this remake. Hopefully it won't be too long till we see gameplay.

The original game's battle system is clunky and bland even by early FF standards so that's the first thing that should be thrown out. Something like FF 7 Remake's battle system would be ideal, but I wouldn't mind it being an RPG-lite action game like Jedi Fallen Order.

I swear some of the very early leaks said the gameplay was being overhauled to be more action oriented.

Makes sense that they'd follow a sort of Mass Effect route. Big project for this developer. They basically have a build a new satisfying action game as well as reincorporating a whole RPG's story.

I can't seem to find where I read that, I'll keep searching. I hope they revamp the gameplay to be more action centered. Even though I never played the original, I'm not a fan of turn based strategy combat. Maybe they can do both. Satisfy new and old players alike.
