Anyone have any problems with playing Knights of the Old Republic on the 360? I came across my old copy last week and eagerly put it in my 360. However there's some serious lag time during gamplay, mainly during dialog and combat. I cleaned the disk and it helped a little, but still...

Yeah, I had the same issue. No amount of cleaning is going to fix that I'm afraid. Just a problem with the emulation.

Why not just buy it for the pc? Higher resolution, anti aliasing, £5, better interface e.t.c.
Doesn't need a super-computer to run it, fairly old game.

You can use the disks with the console? Someone told me you had to download the game to a harddrive or some business? Maybe I'm just confused?

Can someone go over the compatibility issues...I finally bought a 360...like 3 years later and can't wait to play KOTOR 1 and 2...

The only issues i believe are odd sound glitches and maybe some slowdown.

As for downloading games to the HDD, you cant download old Xbox games to it, but you can download any 360 game to your HDD. Having a game installed on your HDD improves load times, reduces the strain on your system and eliminates any sound coming from your system due to the fact the disc isnt spinning.

Thanks!

Stupid Me...

I have sound problems too. Like when characters are talking, the mouth isnt moving. Or dialog option problems where I'll pick it and the replier wont do anything for a few seconds.

Still playable though. I might just pop it in to see what happens now.
