No, not everyone gets on a 3 minute rant about "n*****s", talks about how 40 years ago they'd be dead, and then points them out in a crowd to further heckle them. Wrong.

Kramer's was just OVERT racism, that is why he is getting all this slack.

I think you're missing the point. If your racist and you keep quiet about it, your a heck of a lot better off than the guy who shouts about it. That's like saying the killer should get off death row because "everyone thinks about killing people" it's natural "his was just OVERT killing".

Great, so the first guy can control himself while the second guy flies off the handle. But somehow we should give them both the same amount of slack.

No, I would laugh at or say a racist joke. That's the difference.

Yes, it was inappropriate. So the man should not be chastised for the rest of his life. He apologized, what more can he do? Lets move on.

Besides if this just gets dropped, it'll give the impression that America is indifferent to race issues/"don't care about black people"/whatever. He ****ed up, now he needs to take his medicine.

Leave Kramer alone. It's less about him being racist and more about a botched attempt to get control back from the room. He had to assert himself and he just spouted off the harshest thing he could think of, it just so happened to not be funny.

Hecklers are one of the pitfalls of being comedian. If you are a fire fighter you deal with fires, if you are a police officer who deal with criminals and if you are a comedian you deal with hecklers. Richards isn't very good comedian if he has racist melt down when dealing with a few hecklers.

You mean Peter, the fat, quite, dopey kid? Nah, they were justy making fun of him because he was a fat, dopey kid, not because he was white, all of Rudy's friends were crazy characters. Rudy had a black friend named Kenny who was really sexist, but I doubt they were saying all black men are sexist.

And you go, "I don't think so, it's winter. Maybe. "
So they go, okay, see you later....and then they die with a foaming mouth like, 6 hours later, from the Ricin, and you're like, "Suck on that, Visa. No Stand-Up today, no Stand-Up EVER."

Richard Pryor wasn't racist and if he by some stretch of the imagination was he had a reason to not like white people even though that's not a justifible reason, but my grandfather didn't like white people to much but this is a man who had no reason to love anyone who treated him so badly as a child during the 1930s on up till his late 50's.

It's not an excuse but I can understand it.

After Seinfeld the guy is a millionaire and still makes a ton of cash off the Seinfeld reruns, he doesn't have to do anything if he wants. If he has such a thin skin, he should taken up painting or something, he has enough money to do what he wants, he just screwed up a really sweet deal.

You know, members of the KKK often have a "reason" that they don't like Black people.

I saw an interview with a KKK guy who told of how Black kids terrorized him all through his school years, a Black guy raped his sister and Black guys burlged his house THREE times. So he hates all Black people.

I'd really like to know why a white person is automatically a racist if he says the wrong thing, but a black person can deliberately say the most vile of things and yet you don't view him as racist?

I'm curious, what does a black person have to do to qualify as a racist or is that impossible?
