Kung Fu Flicks

Hell no!
Tell me some of your favorites, man.

Old school favs of mine:

Heroes of the East
The Victim
The Magnificent Butcher
Seven Grandmasters
Dance of the drunk mantis
King Boxer
Knockabout

Fearless
Hero
and basically any old Jackie Chan or bruce Lee movie.
Also Kung pow

Chinese kung-fu flicks are the best kind of kung-fu flicks!

*Spiritual Kung Fu
*Shaolin vs. Lama
*Drunken Master
*Snake in the Eagle's Shadow
*Master of the Flying Guillotine
*Fearless Hyena
*Tai Chi
*Five Deadly Venoms
*Chinese Connection
*Hero
*House of Flying Daggers
*Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
*Killer Meteor
*Legend
*Fists of Fury
*Enter the Dragon

Drunken Master 1 & 2 ftw b**ches! :cmad::up:

Oh and nobody mentioned Kung Fu Hustle yet? It should've been in the very first goddamn post!

I love Dragon Tiger Gate. Story is kinda meh but the action kicks all kinds of ass. And it's got Donnie Yen.

I still can't get thru watching that whole movie for some reason.

Nobody liked the StormRiders?

You can't go wrong with anything Bruce, although I've been partial to Jackie's best as of late. Project A and the Police Story films come to mind.

Enter the Dragon
Return of the Dragon
Balls of Fury

These are the three best Kung Fu (or Kung Fu - esque) movies of all time. Balls of Fury FTMFW!!

Fist of Legend has the smuggest/best dubbed line ever:

"Chen Zen, of Jing Wu. The Best."

I don't know why I couldn't really get into Jackie's cop flicks, but Project A is the ****!

Return of the Dragon
How dare you refer to it by it's tainted name?!!! The movie is called "The Way of the Dragon". They just called it "Return of the Dragon" because it was released in the US after "Enter the Dragon", and Fox wanted to capitalize on WB's success by making it sound like it was a sequel.

I love kung fu movies, but only the ones in Chinese because Hollywood doesn't know how to make any good one in this genre. Jet Li's Once Upon A Time in China series (before he went to Hollywood) are actually pretty good, so was his Shiolin Temple trilogy. I also like Iron Monkey because it has Donnie Yu in it.

Five Deadly Venoms! FTW

Also, many other flicks from the Venom Mob.

Ironically, they play the same character in those 2 series; Jackie Chan was Wong Fei-Hung in the Drunken Master series, Jet Li was Fei-Hung in the OUATIC series, and Donnie Yen was Fei-Hung in Iron Monkey.

Best of the Best is one of my favorites...probably the only decent martial arts movie made in the U.S. that I can think of. The Rhee brothers really put on a nice showcase of Tae with their match at the end of the film.

Well it probably has to do with the fact that I don't sit around all day and beat off to these movies. However, it appears that you've done enough fapping for the both of us, so I'll take your word on it.

Any kung fu flicks that don't star asian people are automatically below any that do.

Internet thugs; gotta love 'em.

Classic, but I don't think that counts as a kung fu flick. Where's the kung fu?
